For the last two days, I've had an issue where my character will fall out of Sprint to a normal walk for no reason. Typically, I will hit L3 to Sprint, take two steps, and fall out to normal walk speed. This happens on foot and mounted. It often happens multiple times in succession. I've had to hit the Sprint button up to five times to remain in Sprint.
