Once Upon a Time

Nickodeamus
Once Upon a Time, in a land not so far from Maryland there was a game that freshly hit the market. This game was named Warhammer Online and was HIGHLY anticipated by all in the land. The company who ruled over this kingdom however was poor and had to sell to a evil god named Electronic Arts, who then induced labor forcing Warhammer Online out into the world before it was ready to be there. Oh how the kingdom raged as they encountered one game breaking bug after the other, over and over again. They appealed to the gods to fix the bugs but alas, the gods had all taken a 3 week vacation so there was no one to fix the bugs. The bugs soon began to kill off the population, claiming the lives of over 400,000 subscribers in just the one free month that the game came out. The gods returned to their game only to find that their job was gone because the evil god Electronic Arts had fired them because the game wasn't doing well. Within three months Warhammer Online had turned from one of the most anticipated games of the decade to one of the biggest failures of the decade.

Moral of the Story - If you don't fix the quest bugs that are trapping people in each zone in the game from level 1 to veteran content you are going to lose your player base and ruin your own game.

As much as I understand this frustration, you have to understand that fixing bugs isn't all that simple...

Playing in the Aldmeri Dominion, I have only encountered 1 (yes, one) quest-breaking bug. And that was Banished Cells (my goodness that thing was bugged for weeks... but I did it today! It was fixed!).

So really, I don't fully understand why people complain about bugs so much, I personally only encountered that single one for the quests.

There were also a few minor bugs with the game itself that I encountered whilst roaming, but nothing that couldn't be fixed with a simple log out and back in technique. These bugs included but are not limited to:
    - Falling infinitely through the map until you hit the edge (after about 3 minutes falling) and get eaten by those pesky fish.
    - Gathering materials such as maple wood or even books are just invisible and I cant activate them (to gather or read).
    - Screen went completely blue.
