Group Healer (Old Content)

This is about the old content, not the new (Elsweyr) stuff. I don't know about the new stuff yet.
If in a group (4 players) or a trial (12 players) should the healer be telling you exactly where you need to stand? I think this was a thing back in the beginning (maybe with a Sorc), but I don't remember it being a thing for newer healers.
Some templar healer got extremely upset bc I didn't stand exactly where they wanted me to, just wondering if that is a new thing? When I said oh sorry I haven't had the healer tell me exactly where to stand, they said well you're an idiot. (LOL!)
Is this like a new thing for healers? Does it affect the heals that much?

✭✭✭✭✭Before, templar heals were 360 degrees around the Templar. Several patches ago, they made BOL and a few other heals only a cone in front of the healer. as well as removing things out of the templar’s toolkit and putting it in either the warden’s skill set, in the restoration skill set, or severely nerfing its power because of pvp, etc. If you are standing to the side, or to the back, the healer has to cast twice just to get you. If you insist on not standing where it’s easiest for the healer to put down group/AOE heals then become self healing.#FiteForYourRite Bosmer = Stealth

It’s not a problem for old content on my healer, I find most damage dealers are self sufficient anyway. Just slot vigor, especially with random groups, there’s no telling if the “healer” is going to be real or just another DD with combat prayer
