BG abusing..

I dont ussualy rant on these forums about game mechanics...but there is one that annoys me a bit..

In Chaosball,,,A tanky dude takes a ball and goes to its team respawn spot..And this isnt a problem...

The problem is when 3 of his teammates are spamming focused aim and healing spells from their respawn place where we cant get to them...

Would be nice if that elevated respawn place would make players unable to use spells from....

    Nah. Just make it a simple boot. If up there for longer then say, 8 seconds after match starts / resurrection. Player gets ported down to the area in front of the Team base/Spawn.

    No..because in deatchmatch..player tp'd in arena is a feed for oppoing teams points

    I thought it already booted you if you stayed there too long? I could have sworn I got a notification when I lingered for a moment to mess around with my bars once

    Same thing can be applied to DM, Relic....and why TF would they split a fix that works for all BG types into the Chaosball mode only...Different modes happen on same map so why....

    I believe it is technically too clumsy to make this a different behavior for different sort of matches.

    The first solution is in my opinion the best one and should be implemented for every sort of BG. Similar to the immunity in IC. You can watch from atop and are immune, but can not cast anything as well.

    Someone sensible...i dont understand how ppl cant see that implementing only for 1 Bg type creates soo much more problem for devs than its neccessary..

    I was actually soo surprised he proposed the implement for only 1 bg type..baffling

    Both. It should be impossible to attack someone in the zone from the respawn location but also if they should have a timer to boot them as well.

    We have this mechanic in IC where certain spots we are silenced and it makes total sense the respawn locations in BG should be silenced.
