Fix blast bones and make it faster, a simple fix that will make Magcros good

Of course I would be too optimistic thinking ZOS will do anything about it for at least a year if not more, they have rarely listned to feedback or made any skill changes outside of major class overhauls.

But here is to hoping that will change. Magicka necros are horrible even though necros should be magicka base and all the stamina morphs and necros with bows and daggers just dont make sense.

A simple change to blastbones will make them viable even though stamcros will still be way better.

I have a khajit so i can change but I really dont want to play stamcros dont force me to do that just beacause of horrible balance.

    Well it did jump at one point, I feel like allowing them to jump at their targets again might help with the issue.

    being able to cast it as a range ground targeted spell would make it more useful, give it the ability to do what the mage does and attack the nearest target and you have a blastbones that can be used more effectively.

    Yeah still can’t believe they did that on PTS..Blastbones was fast and jumped farther. @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_Gilliam @ZOS_BrianWheeler Please revert it to what it was on PTS :(

    Blastbones felt so much smoother on PTS the first week. What it's released as is really, really bad.

    They also need to make mystic siphon target a nearby corpse automatically. Targetting a corpse is a pain when you move around (and there's all sorts of effects and players in the way) and half the time the ability is lit up but I can't use it.

    it is a real shame too, it is the only DoT skill in the game that i know that ticks 3 times every second, every .33 of a second. that is great for proccing secondary effect from monster sets, like illambris or valkyn.

    They need to revert to its previous week 1 form. But obviously fix the bugs associated with it. And they should also fix the interaction between it and reapers mark

    The changes I like to see made to Blastbones:

    1. It no longer explodes when coming into contact with the target, increase its health and have it attack like a regular pet.
    2. Pressing the Skill a second time causes the Skeleton to Explode, damage dealt is dependent on how long it remained up.
    3. Increase its duration to 16 seconds. If it lives up to 16 seconds then it explodes on its own dealing full damage.
    4. Stamina Morph: Your Skeleton now Leaps at its target and applies a Snare to all enemies within 8 meters.
    5. Magicka Morph: Your Skeleton gains a Damage Aura, dealing Fire damage to all nearby enemies.

    This makes it more controlled, allowing you to blow it up when you want it to if you need it to explode right away or running through a large pack of enemy targets instead of its intended target. For those who want it as an actual attacking pet or hold off on exploding until you need it, you can also detonate it right after it spawns without a target. The incentive to holding off the explosion is the damage builds up over time, doing its highest damage after 16 seconds and will detonate itself. The drawback is that if you detonate it too early, it does lower damage while letting it persist to 16 seconds or close to that before clicking again will give the most damage.

    The Stamina Morph should provide it some ground to cover instead of being an easy target running at someone, with its pathing issues and stupid AI it sometimes chases forever or becomes immobile with stupidity.

    The Magicka Morph gains a moving damage AOE allowing it to do additional damage while its attacking or on the move through enemy targets. I think it should also leave a patch of fire where it exploded for 4 seconds.

    I like this, but I think the magicka version needs the snare more then stam, stam already has soo many tools for catching people and magicka has little to stop others from catching them, it would be better if magicka could get some kind of kiting tool since they are so dead set on "Range" being their advantage... Honestly, I am not sure stam needs these changes like magicka does.
