Honestly, what you think about necromancer class

Foobiscuit11✭✭I'm somewhat...underwhelmed? While leveling one up, it felt really familiar. Then I understood why. Some skills, at least in the Grave Lord tree, feeling like reskinned warden skills, at least pre-morph.
Flaming Skull = Cliff Racer
Blastbones = Shalks
Boneyard = Ice Shards
Granted, there's some uniqueness in how those skills work, but functionality, they're very similar. And when playing it, I think, "I have a magden and stamden both at 50 with all their skills unlocked and riding mostly trained all the way...why am I not playing them instead?"
I haven't tried tanking, to be fair, and the little healing I've done on the necromancer has been decently fun. But for this mostly solo player, I feel like I'll be forcing the Necro to 50 so I have a complete set, and then putting it aside in favor of something else.

Stam specs ares still fun. I just pretend the class is called Death Knight instead of a Necromancer. Makes it easier to appreciate the class for what it is instead of what it should have been."Never go in, miss. Never say a prayer at its door. Sibenice✭✭✭✭Magicka is lackluster. I like it but I’m finding myself looking at the stamina and tanking like 👀
This was going to be my one and only caster/mage and it looks like I’m back to endless hail/vigor/caltrops yet again. Kind of tired of it. Using a bow/dw with Warden fits thematically. Using it with stamDK, fine I get it. Using it with stamplar, ehh really would rather 2h/something else. Using it with stamsorc, ehhhhhh really would rather 1h&rune. I don’t play Nightblade anymore, just fish and steal.
My only bug so far is that the character slows down to a crawl after combat. There are no debuffs, no spells active, and I didn’t accidentally hit the run/walk key. It’s pretty bad. I have to relog to get rid of it.
Try heavy attacking with both weapons. You don't need a target, just doing it in the air works. It should fix it if it's the bug I'm thinking of.1 -
