I have a question for all the hardcore furnishing/housing enthusiasts!

OK so i was doing the titans (they are titans not dragons) in Elsweyr and i got myself a furnishing pattern...
Now, I don't collect them so i looked into selling it. Yes i know that prices can go crazy with furnishing so i looked it up first though Master Merchant and got nothing and same for guildmates in the trading guild I'm in... So i went to Tamriel Trade Center (im in EU but looked both servers) and for some reason I see zero listing for the last 2 days (going to 3rd now) in any server of this specific one. Also, the "autocomplete" feature of TTC doesn't even show me that name
It does however show me the name and also listing in both servers of:
Which is not the same from what i can tell (Notice mine said Blue Four-Poster, these are all Yellow Four-Poster)
Is it safe to assume that noone has had this dropped yet and/or put of for sale yet hence it doesn't show up? Or what's the case?
And if it is different than the Yellow one, and assuming there are indeed no active listings (or haven't been any yet) could i try
to sell it for more than the Yellow one?

Also im looking to sell this in PC EU if anyone is collecting these

✭✭✭✭✭TTC is asked price so you don't know if that item sold at that price or not. Still I would price what you got somewhere near the 400k or maybe a little higher and see if is goes. It is a new drop so chances are it hasn't been listed yet. I still get over 100k for some furniture recipes that have been in the game a long time so 400k isn't unbelievable. There are always a few players with a lot of gold that wants everything right now. That is your market this early after a chapter drops. Take full advantage. Later prices will come down some but depending on drop rate that could be next week or months from now.and then the parrot said, "must be the water mines green too."0 -
prof-dracko✭✭✭✭✭Purple plans always sell for hundreds of thousands when new, and probably will for a few more months. Some Summerset and CWC ones are still crazy expensive. In saying that, they seem to have made Elsweyr plans easier to get this time around. Sell now for the best prices because they will drop, though purple ones probably not by a whole lot.1 -

Thanks for the responses, my question though is, if it is that easy (and yes it is easier to get Elsweyr ones than summerset etc) then would the fact that up until now there are zero listings in any server for that mean specific one mean that it is rare? Or am i missing something? And it doesn't even come up as an "autocomplete" let alone actual listings0 -
prof-dracko✭✭✭✭✭Like I said, Purple is always rare. If thee's none on TTC for your server than it means either barely anyone has them or that once they're in the shops they sell incredibly quickly.0

YaYaPineapple✭✭✭✭It can take a few days before new items show up on TTC, even if people do have them listed for sale. You can do as search here on the forum (might be on the General board) for the thread about companion style sheets not showing up in TTC searches. People weren't finding any listings for several days even though there were probably thousands in circulation.
A lot of people also feed the first new plan they find to their crafter then sell any copies they get later. Try selling it for a bit more than the yellow one and see what happens. Maybe you'll make a nice profit.3 -

Either way, it looks like the plan may be rarer than the yellow one, but I think it's too early to know that for sure.
As far as the plans being easier to obtain, is that pre or post the Traitor's Vault nerf? Alinor plans were plentiful at launch, when everyone was farming a particularly good farming spot. Once that was nerfed, many moved on, though there are other places to farm Alinor plans.0 -
LadySinflower✭✭✭✭✭If you want to take the time, another thing you can do is go around to some of the major guild trading hubs (mournhold, alinor, belkarth, elden root, vivec city, etc.)and see if you can find this in any of the guild stores. Time-consuming, yes, but might get you better information than TTC or an add-on that may not show up-to-the-minute statistics. Console here so I have no idea how add-ons work.0 -

Yeah no that's definitely going for way more than that... the yellow variant is listed for close to 1m in NA server and upper half million in EU so imagine one that is literally never listed or dropped (?)1 -

As I say, personally, I would only pay that, as it wouldn't be worth more than that to me.
I don't care how (artificially) rare something is - I just care if I like it a lot, or not.
By the way, why are you on here asking, if you already (basically) think you know what it's worth?
