Imperials vs Nords

Nord is only good for tanking, and I choose that over imperial because Nord can compete with Altmer... In height. Imperial shorties.

Imperials are imps now. They had 2 great percentage boni before the new racials. Now they can't compete with the Nords. Even the red diamond passive is crap now. Before that, it worked at least as a decent melee regen. Now it is a Kentucky fried joke, compaired to the resis and the ult regen of Nord.

Imperials are better because with careful tweaking you can make them look like any earth race/nationality.

And of course Imperials can look like Redguard, Bretons and Nords easily. And if you do it right they can even look like Dunmer (bluish purple vampire skin)

Nords just look like Nords. Which isn’t bad but it’s limiting.

Who exactly was doing that? He asked to see pictures of Nord and Imperial characters to decide what he wanted. I don't have any male imperials but I do have a Nord so I posted it.

So far the best looking character in this thread is @Ye_Olde_Crowe 's character pre vampire.

Facial features:

Imperials looks like Roman Soldiers (Western features)
Nords looks like Vikings (Nordic features)

A best example would be this picture:

A Nord is the middle guy in the pic, the rest are average hoomans.

Imperials and Bretons are 100000% the best looking male characters in the game. I use both for mine and have a headcanon behind their names, history, etc.

I have since made additional characters, including an Imperial Tank that I ended up switching to Nord for the superior passives. I have kept my Stamina DPS as Imperials through and through since the beginning because I could always hit hard enough but they’ve finally made enough changes that I finally might need to suck it up and change them all to Redguard and it legitimately depresses me lol.

Its well possible to make good looking Nords. Tbh I don't see much of a difference between my Nords and Imperials:

First picture shows my 2 Nords and the second one two of my Imperials.

Well, this is harder than i expected. Nice to see non goofy Nords exist.

I would take passives into account but dunno which is more sweet. Ult regen or Reduction which is applied to ults

It takes some work, but you can make them look more fierce than goofy

@Aedh I saw your Nord in another thread, and he is one of the few Nords I've seen from others that looks damn good and intriguing. He looks fierce and definitely not goofy.

Sometimes you can use chargen to make a really good looking male or female of some race, and then swap to the race you're really wanting. It works - sometimes.
