Why prologue daily quests aren't 1 per day?

Both Murkmire and Elsweyr daily quests can be done xyz times a day. Doesn't mean any sense - why? From lore/quest point of view, it's like going back and forth non-stop, building stuff in a day. It was meant to be a slow process, hence the name daily quest.

There are daily quests and there are repeatable quests (like the Dark Brotherhood and Thieve's Guild ones)

Are you sure they just aren't set up to be like those?

Maybe they are, it was just weird... I thought they were set like MG/FG ones that are 1/day. Thanks for the tip I guess.

They aren't infinite. Murkmire has 6 different daily prologue quests, and Elsweyr has 9. After completing all of them you have to wait until tomorrow to do them again.

Oh that makes sense. It's like those quests from Cropsford, Vlastarus... I totally forgot about these!

I can only do one a day, however if you pick up one or more day ago and do today as you passed boss or delve, you can get an new one on delivering.
Like other world bosses and delve dailies you can also group up and share quests
This was common for farming them under last even.
