Remove wayshrines would be interesting how it would change the money market and stuff. Also housing would be a bit different in that case. I think flying mounts is a minimum if they remove wayshrines.

I like the idea of flying mounts, it's really about time, lot of crowns to be made there.

Yeah, imagine....you could fly into a keep in Cyrodiil :p

No sige no fighting, just flying :D

its not faction hoppers that are a problem...they have minimal impact on the campaigns cause they are true ap leechers...

faction lock is there to punish the small handful of legitimate pvp guilds that want to play against other players, they dont care about ap as there are more efficient ways to earn it

anyone defending faction lock or 90% of the EP players on noncp (there are some real pvp players there) needs a freaking lobotomy or an open palm slap to the face

Which is entirely not true im a very great PvP player. To be honest buff food changes did hit me hard bc now me and my 63 EP Dk friends now have a lowered health pool of about 41k health

You have it arse backwards, it is there to prevent known large guilds that want to jump back and forth and flip the map.
I wonder if some of you even play PvP at top level and know what really goes on.

Honestly now that you got to lock yourself to a faction and have your alts rot I don't see why we can't retroactively use our "Any Race Any Alliance" upgrade to move our characters to more desirable factions. Even if you can only do it once every year or something. I'm not rerolling and losing out my customization sliders, skill points, and achievement progressions.

I totally agree on that, maybe bind ur whole account to one alliance and can actually change it once a month or smth. I´d be cool with that, then friends could actually play together on whatever alliance they want, would make things much easier.

I dont mind the faction locking for the 30 day.

Based on my experience, which is just before fraction locking was removed until now, i think not having faction locking has cause a lot of harm to the pvp community and population. Especially in the 30 day because players start taking note of the score and start playing on those sides. Theres enough time in the 30 day to start out on one alliance and if it starts losing switch and get rewards on the winning side.

Granted this is just my opinion but i blame the lack of faction locking for a lot of the problems with pvps culture. Its decreased the drive to actually fight for a faction. Which has promoted a rise in just farming players and keeps for ap. Players switch to the winning side alliances start loosing harder with no possibility for a comeback, which makes players that actually want to stick around to try to win get butt hurt and stop pvping. Next campaign theres less loyalists more farmers, rinse repeat. Thats isnt good for gameplay that is supposed to be centered around capturing and defending keeps.

I wanna give faction locking on the 30 day some time and see how it impacts things.

a new Solo 'Mercenary' Alliance is a great idea.

    How would it work?

maybe you could have the ability to go to any campaign on any alliance but grouping would be disabled...

    - Bring back pre-one Tamriel, different factions shouldn't be able to play together - since you're choosing an alliance, then you're taking a side whether you're in Cyrodiil or not

    - Bring back Cadwell's silver and gold - no access to zones beyond your questing progress

    - Remove wayshrines because what kind of immersion is *** fast travel????

    - In order to level mages guild you will now have to pass a questionnaire based on every lorebook you read

-Remove being able to buy mount upgrades. You shall practice every day

All because of immersion right ? I mean Cyrodiil gets to have factionlock why shouldn´t that kind of immersion apply to other things aswell, like in the bulletpoints above SMILE : )

    u said it bro :P

In PvE, factions honestly don't matter. The only place that faction lock matters and is required is in PvP in order to prevent abuse. PvP needs to have some semblance of competition and that is impossible when players brazenly cheat by sabotaging the other 2 factions and then farming on an alt to reap extra rewards - at that point, what's the point of playing in Cyrodiil? In PvE, everyone is fighting the same enemy - mobs, so competition is not present in that regard.

I get triggered seeing Elves and Rawl'kha crashes my aging PC now with all the elves, liked it when it was same old 5 DC UE players chilling there, I refuse to leave Rawl though.

Because they could make money with faction change tokens, which is probably the long term reason for ZOS to introduce factions locks, so they can hit you with those sweet faction change tokens for only 20€ per character.
