Hello guys,
Before anything i'd like to say i rarely do my daily dungeon, and i never skipped it when i did, porting to another leaving team mates behind. But today some lower level friends wanted to spam rando dungeon for the bonus exp, while i could have used the time to farm some dungeon sets of another, so everyone was winning, thing is the dungeon finder activity wasn't being completed on the ported dungeon but only when we came back to the initial dungeon the finder gave us. We tried this twice, same result.
Was the random dungeon skip "feature" fixed this last patch?

- Trash Potions when feeling cheap: Regular CP150 Essence of Magicka pots that I obtain frequently from playing the game or Crown Tri-Restoration Potion obtained from dailies.
- Crafted Potions: Essence of Spell Critical (Bugloss, Lady's Smock, and Water Hyacinth). Without magelight this is my primary means of obtaining Major Prophecy on my Sorc, which increases my Spell Critical Rating. This also heals and restores magicka. Essence of Immovability (Columbine, Corn Flower, and Wormwood). I use this in PvP, since this gives me stealth detection, knockback immunity, and restores magicka (better to use it when competent allies are nearby, since it might reveal that you are surrounded by multiple players in stealth and you will not have an emergency pot available after use). Essence of Invisibility with only 2 ingredients (Blue Entoloma, Namira's Rot, Nirnroot, or Spider Egg). I use this in PvE content that requires stealth and if I need more speed I'll use Rapid Maneuver before using the potion. Essence of Invisibility with 3 ingredients (Blessed Thistle, Blue Entoloma, and Namira's Rot). Very useful in PvP alongside the vampire Dark Stalker passive, since you'll be invisible, ignore movement speed penalty while in Crouch, and you'll have a 30% movement speed boost from Major Expedition (I always have this slotted when riding from point A to B in PvP land, since gankers are always lurking). My templar/arcanist will mostly use Essence of Health (Tri-Stat Potion) Ingredients: (Mountain Flower, Columbine, and Bugloss).

✭I noticed this too.
My group was in BC1, we queued for another random, got BC1 again.
As we hadn't left the dungeon from the previous run, the new BC1 was empty with the blue portal at the entrance.
Our only option was to leave group and take the penalty or port a another dungeon, we ported.
After completing the other dungeon, we received no bonus xp and the activity was not completed.
We had to leave group and sit out the next 5 minutes as we were still within the 15 minute timer.
If this is an intended fix I'm happy, but with the GF i dont know what is an intended feature and what is a bugEdited by LordGavus on May 24, 2019 12:17AM5 -

Yeah, we normally do. Forgot to this time and the queue insta pops with 4 people. As soon as it happened we joked about getting the same one, and....
Wasnt a problem before as you could 'work around' the system. Looks like that may be fixed though (which is good imo)0 -
ticka_kicka✭✭✭My problem with the "fix" is when my group re-queues right after finishing a dungeon only to be put in the same exact dungeon again and have it be broken because it's the same instance. It was annoying but we would just port to a new dungeon. Now we have to leave the group and wait 15 mins usually on scrolls so it's a bit more than just annoying now. We're trying to get in the habit of ditching the group and regrouping after every dungeon but we forget from time to time and get punished for it.
EDIT: Obviously, if the dungeon finder didn't put us in the same broken place I wouldn't care about the fix since it wouldn't make us have to leave the group thus getting rid of the only reason for me to port to a new dungeonEdited by ticka_kicka on May 24, 2019 3:59AM3 -

There is nothing in the patch notes that suggests Zos changed anything so not one can give an official answer but Zos and I would guess Zos will not answer this.
It makes sense Zos would not post it in the patch notes so to get those that exploited this to do extra work for nothing. It is worth a good laugh.

✭✭✭✭To not get a broken/finished instance of the same queue, you swap difficulty between normal and vet, and back to what you want before requeueing. You can't do this if the group is formed by the finder and have to disband before que instead.
