So I have to say that the announcement of better guild managing tools made me really excited, especially the blacklist feature since we've had a few bad apples manage to get into our guild on occasion, and its the first thing I started messing with, but through some extensive testing with my guild officers I found out there's a bit of an issue with some of the new features, that being the blacklist and its notes is unviewable unless someone has the "Manage Blacklist" feature, which automatically enables the "Remove members" option for them as well.

I basically tested *every* other privilege in guild ranks to see if they would make it viewable, but only "Manage Blacklist" does.

I do understand in some groups, "View Blacklist" has the potential to be abused, but giving only the option to Manage it in order to see it seems even worse imo. Most people I've already added to my guild blacklist are people who not only broke guild rules, but ZoS conduct rules and/or the law (stalking and harassment, racist and anti-LGBT slurs, etc), not for petty reasons or standard spats.

We already have two separate options "View member notes" and "edit member notes". It only seems natural we'd have a "view blacklist" option which makes it only viewable, but not grant editing and kicking options, especially in the case of users whose behaviors are more extreme than others. Some people's behaviors are outright dangerous to other users, and things like that should be made transparent to protect a guilds' members where possible.


An additional note to this, the blacklist notes could probably benefit from a higher text amount cap for explaining why they're on the blacklist.
