Probably this is a noob question but I couldn't find a clear answer on internet. Do Major Resolve and Major Ward effect damage shields like Hardened Ward or Harness Magicka? I know, critical resistance from inpen. gear or CP effect them for PVP but asking about physical and spell resistance.

✭The only mitigation that doesn't affect shields is blocking. It takes effect after the shield.PC - EU - France - AD

It is not. In fact shields only recently became affected by this.
There are no noob questions in ESO. This is literally a game where developers write 'melee attack' in tooltips while they themselves cannot consistently define what a melee attack actually is.
