A few questions about DK abilities. Pro's please read. Weakness to elements and Ardent flame.

1) My first question is, is flame damage the same as fire damage? I would think it is but want to be sure before I spend some more skill points. The main question is Will "weakness to elements (reduce fire, shock and frost resistance by 40%)" work for Ardent Flame skills?

2) Does Stamina make the Ardent Flame skills do more damage? I use my 2h when casting them but they take mana? Im stacking stamina which seems to be working.

    1. Yes.

    2. No.

Long answer: a skill's damage/healing/whatever is determined by two things. Weapon power/spell power and max stamina/max magicka.

All weapon skills use weapon power. Everything else uses spell power.

All skills that use stamina as a resource use max stamina. All skills that use magicka as a resource use max magicka.

All basic, heavy and bash weapon attacks use weapon power and max stamina.

Cool, thanks. I was thinking of going heavy Ardent Flame for pvp. So I should have more magicka than stamina then?
