Have been receiving about twice the normal surveys the last 2 days and many double drops (e.g., 2 blacksmithing surveys from the same box). Also received a Woodworking survey for Elsweyr, but it might be bugged. When I try to use it, the screen goes slightly out of focus but no map or description comes up on the screen.9 -

I was just about to start a thread saying the same. 2 full days of writs. 15 characters on the account without Elsweyr. ZERO drops of surveys (the odds of that happens are like 1 in a hundred million, at the 12.5% drop rate they normally have). Nothing in patch notes to indicate any change.
I saw double writs drops on my main account, which does have access to Elsweyr, in ratios that were "typical"
Main account has all chapters purchased
Alt account has the Morrowind Edition.

That's the Any Race/Any Alliance upgrade. I'm not sure why the maps in those are marked as "CE," because they were originally a preorder bonus, and not attached to The Imperial Edition.
EDIT: Wait, that might be because you got the Morrowind and Summerset CE upgrades with your Elsweyr upgrade. Again, I'm not exactly sure what's going on there, but that's a nice perk for preordering.Edited by starkerealm on May 21, 2019 3:38PM0 -

✭✭✭Crafting survey RNG is being weird to me lately. I am on PS4 NA, so I have Elsweyr pre-ordered but not in my possession yet. I have base game upon which I added the Morrowind chapter and Summerset chapter when they came out.
Past 2 weeks, my main - who is also my master crafter - has gotten zero surveys. My other three toons, all nowhere near master crafters but still leveling themselves, usually seem to get 1-2 daily.PS5 NA. GM of The PTK's - a free trading guild (CP 500+). Also a werewolf, bites are free when they're available. PSN = DragonRacer131 -

AFAIK, and have been able to tell, survey drops are independent of level of writs, knowledge of motifs, etc... I do 6x writs on 8 characters daily. (provisioning does not give surveys)
I usually get at least 4 surveys per day, with 48 turn-ins. Often more.
I have not purchased Elsweyr. It seems there is a bug for people who have not purchased the chapter.2 -
