I have not. Since I only use lore-friendly names and I have yet to decide what race my necromancer is going to be, it has little point.

about to be 17 (across both servers)...wish they would introduce a new race or two

trying to diversify that many characters with the limited race, resource pool focus, skill and weapon use, gear, and build varieties is challenging...

particularly if you enjoy more difficult dungeons, trials, arena, and pvp content...

one of the best comments I've ever read on this forum:

if you don't optimize your build, you'll just be fighting against better versions of yourself

so yeah, we need a new race and weapon class - badly...

I've had mine for years now, an Argonian Sorcerer healer.
When Elsweyr drops, I'll "remake" him as a Necromancer, but give him a different name, then delete the old character and use one of the free Name change tokens we were given to change the new character's name. Much quicker than creating a new character, so I'll be pretty much 100% guaranteed to get the name.

But you will be creating a new character... Why not delete the old one first then make the new one with the name you want, that way you dont waste a name change token

1. Save the name you want on another character (name holder).

2. Create a Necromancer, fool around with the sliders, and when you're done, take a picture of them.

3. Delete the name holder and create your Necromancer, save time by looking at the pictures of where the sliders should be. This can easily be done in 1-2 minutes.

4. (Optional) Do this during late evening/early morning.

As @Elwendryll already said, it's to make the window for someone to "steal" the name from me as small as possible. We were given 3 Name change tokens, and after this I would have used two of them, and it's not like I have a burning need to change the names of my characters.

There are far fewer members of the Claws family now than there were at the height of our power and influence generations ago.

So this one thinks it unlikely anyone will be thinking of using the name she has in mind for her new apprentice and this one has ideas for variations should this occur.

Actually not even thought about it, until now. But I will likely opt, as I usually do, for a name using Gaelic or Greek, which means I can indeed use things like death, dead, die etc - Itl just wont be written in English. (Grianasteri is an amalgam of both Gaelic and Greek, with anglicised versions of the words).

What I have done, is already thought about what outfit to create! Gotta look the part as well!

Yes, but I prefer to use in-lore names so my ability to make pun names is limited mostly to Argonians. Still I do have a placeholder for my necromancer character who's a warden right now. Dranos Athrys, a Dunmer banished by his House for necromancy. Funny thing is that I made this character a few days before the necromancer was announced. He was supposed to be born again and using powers of nature but now I guess he'll have a relapse of his old habits.

Then we all meet back at the Direnni Necropolis in Summerset, to collect rent.
