When will we get a Guild Hall for Guilds? Also ideas for how it could work.

I always wondered why we never got a guild hall, it would be a really cool place to hang out with your guild and where you could share furniture you have, I don't know if its because Zenimax doesn't think its important or if its too hard to implement but I feel like it would be great to have. Just design it so initially only the guild leader has access, however in the guild ranks it could be assigned as to what ranks have access to the guild hall and who can edit it. You could go to the guild Hall by going to the guids and clicking a button that could say travel to Guild Hall or something. The guild hall could have their own basic building and then the guild leader could change it to be one of their houses or just keep it how it is. Obviously I don't have a great idea for how it would work but this is just a rough suggestion. I want to know how many people think this would be a good idea. Also guild halls should only be built with gold to give the idea that you and the guild are working together towards something and to encourage teamwork, ect.

I'm in 2 minds about this idea. This is not the first time someone has suggested it. I'm not saying that I'm entirely against it but I have my reservations.

As is, we have these huge notable homes that make good guild halls moreso than homes imo.

I would like to see more guild functionality yes. Im very excited about the new guild finder that is being implemented with Elsweyr expansion/chapter.

The issue I would have with guild halls is ownership and how to pass the guild hall on if and when a guild master decides he
no longer wants to be in the guild. Also, as is we cannot place furniture we craft or buy into a house we don't own. A person with decorator permission is able to move furniture around but not actually add any furniture. Im wondering how zos would get around that.

I like the idea of guild halls being separate to houses because then they are more likely to be to most players taste whereas some notable homes that have been converted into guild halls and decorated by their owner are not always to everyone's taste. I think it would be great to have guilds with a strong faction theme especially for pvp guilds.

Another good idea for guild halls would be open, flat, spacious areas for target dummie, large gathering halls, notice boards for guild events, a guild banker or guild bank vault for guild access to their bank.

Hmm the more i think about it the more i like the guild hall idea i just hope it would have access to a larger amount of people...access is a bit of a worry when you have 400 guildies but only 12 could visit at a time. So this would be an issue. The visitor number restriction kinda kills the purpose of having a guild hall especially for Rpers . It wouldnt be fair to deny access to some guildies if say you were having a big guild event in the guild hall. It may not be such an issue for smaller guilds.

Also I would hope the guild hall would not require huge numbers of players join in order to acquire the guild hall as with guild bank needing 50 recruited. I say this because I myself prefer smaller guilds. I don't like joining big clicky guilds where half the members dont know each other. I know some love the bigger guilds and that is absolutely great for them but some dont cope in big guilds.

    Thanks for reading😊😊😊

Yeah thats the thing, normal houses have a limit, but if guild halls allowed large amounts of people to visit, as well as having large halls and a large outside area to put target dummies, crafting tables ect. It would be extremely helpful. Also if they made them gold only, then it would be something that guilds could work torwards.
