There is some good change, gonna make more choice for end-game healing.
The DK is a bit behind, but he's often underrated, I've play it a lot before falling in love with Templar flashy skill and it was very solid.
But you need to build and gear him different from traditional healer to be efficient.
I've clean lot of content with it and I plan to make another build for him and try it again sine it was really fun.
DK go the best "oh sh*t" button from all healer : insane heal, no need to turn around just shoot mob/boss and distance can go to 2x28m (28m to shoot mob + 28m bounce to ally)
"Cinder Storm" really need a buff on the size, not the power heal.
For the fix on Templar, it's not a big deal, If I play with new or PU running around I can just slot healing ward in a flex spot so I don't have to chase them. But I was already looking for them since the 2sd heal of BoL is not that great anyway, so, not a big change, nothing to complain about.
EDIT :
Also I was already using Nightflame, this thing is amazing, proc every single time a heal tick.
Great with RR or Blood altar.
When I don't use it I just put 1p of chudan and 1 of skel so I get very solid resistance (33k spell resist, 26k physical resist).

Dk has all the right stuff just needs adjustments to make their skills more practical in pve gameplay.

DK is still in a pretty decent spot for PvP heals. Just tested it during this latest PTS cycle.

They've already screwed breath of life as far as I'm concerned. So this change just completes the screwing. It's not like you could effectively heal people with just the secondary heal anyway.
I really don't understand why so many Templar healers put up with what they've done to the class though. It makes literally no sense what-so-ever to make Templars unable to heal targets behind them considering their ritual abilities require the Templar to center themselves in the group which places ranged dps BEHIND THE TEMPLAR. It's almost as if they don't even play their own game. These changes make even less sense when you consider other healers - like sorcerers for example - have no such restraints on their heals and can heal their targets when behind. So these stupid changes are not even consistent.

If. If? IF?!?! They do not!
* Missed
Eye of Nahviintaas – Light – Healer
2 – Adds 129 Magicka Recovery
3 – Gain Minor Aegis at all times, reducing your damage taken from Dungeon, Trial, and Arena Monsters by 5%.
4 – Adds 1096 Maximum Magicka
5 – When an ally activates one of your synergies, you and the ally who activated the synergy get 12% cost reduction for non-Ultimate abilities plus Bash, Dodge Roll, Break Free, and Sprint for 3 seconds. This effect can occur every 6 seconds per target.
The perfect version didn't mention little extra information about this set, which will make world of difference now. It's actually very viable option in all forums of gameplay for healers. Mind you though warden and Templar got an edge since they have a synergy that can be activated by group.

Would be better to have a confirmation from ZoS for this. Can also be a typo error.
Cuz with 6sec look bad, but w/0 CD look pretty OP.
So I'm curious if @ZOS_GinaBruno or someone else confirm this about the Perfect version of this set.

In the recent event, I nervously took a DK healer that was below standard in various ways (no orbs, no warhorn, off race, lack of experience on my part playing DK) into normal Spindleclutch 1. I wound up sticking with the group and doing the day's DLC pledge (ICP) as well. But that just shows one can do it; I would probably have healed more effectively in any other class.
As for emergency heals -- I generally hit Ward Ally first and then decide what additional burst healing seems needed or prudent.
