Okay what in Oblivion is this? Any Race any Alliance going up to the price of 11,700?

Skyshard prices are much to be undesired. And this? For something those in the base game pre crownstore could have gotten for free with game purchase. Why in the heck are they doing this?

So basically a merging of the horse the dog the any race any alliance, the Race & Name Change Token, 3 Experience Scrolls, and a collection of Treasure Maps. So taking out the existing so they can add a far more expensive version? To bad I'm not buying it. So many other things to buy but I think its a mistake charging that much for any race any alliance. So basically before it was just 1900 now its up to a 9800 crown prince increase.

What I'm seeing on the page you linked is a discounted price of 2,000 crowns, down from a standard price of 11,700. In other words, supposedly an 80%+ discount. Now, if the listed price before discount has been hiked to make the discount appear larger, that's sleazy AF and one of the practices any sensible jurisdiction forbids when it comes to special sales.

I really do hope they stick with the 2000 crown pricing on this otherwise they are just pulling a cryptic.
Putting a bunch of stuff in one bundle to make it appear as it should be worth Almost 100$ worth of crowns.

Is the old version on its own still available? If now this is a horrible move by ZOS.

Also adding new things to the store at a discount and saying it's on sale. Didn't FO76 get slammed for doing this?

The old version was mentioned as being slated for removal, so this seems to be it for Any Race, Any Alliance.

And yes, Fallout put items up in a bundle that was “discounted” from the supposed full price when the items were not actually available separately at any price.

I suppose the question is: is the 2k crown price the “normal” price for the bundle, and the 82% off represents the “discount” from their individual prices (which no longer exist)? Or is this a limited time sale where the price will go “back” up to 11k+ at some point?

Since when was the Any Race upgrade worth over $100??

Had to go look at crown pack prices, so actually it'd be, what, $80ish for 11,700 crowns. Still that's a butt ton for an upgrade.

I do hope that is what it means and the pack will be 2000 crowns for the duration of its existence but I'm not going to trust Zenimax to keep it that way. They might very well put it at that full price later on.

So they made a sale out of Alliance costumes, horses and dogs a month ago and now all of this is for 2000 crowns? I'm glad I didn't buy them then. 2000 for a pack like that is ok but the 11700 price tag is absurd. Wasn't the Idea behind the pack to make items cheaper than the prices of the individual items? The items that were in the store forever I might add. Still 2000 price tag for what's given is ok, I'd consider getting it even though I already have ARAA from preorder bonus pack.

I’d hate to see it go up any higher than its current price, but if they keep the current advertising it’s basically the equivalent of what Fallout did. There were some claims in relation to that backlash that creating a “total price” for individual items that couldn’t be bought separately in order to advertise the bundle price as a “discount” on that artificial total was not exactly above board in certain countries. But I’m not up to speed on the specifics.

Its also an bundle who does not make sense. You want this mostly for creating an new character.
Or it can be that you discover you don't have it trying to race change, in this case you have an race change token anyway.

As has been stated in other threads by now, the fixed price of the bundle is 2.000 while 11,000+ is the value of its parts (any race, any alliance, costume, hat, horse, dog, tokens...).

Hey all, just to clear up some confusion here. The price you see on the Any Race, Any Alliance bundle is its permanent price. It's meant to display the total value of the bundle, rather than a sale (which is why there's no timer.)

Except it appears to be illegal to advertise something at a discount/% off of a price at which it was never regularly sold:

They need to remove the “original” price notation and the “% off”. I’m not sure if they could even say “11,700 crowns’ worth of value” considering neither the bundle nor its constituent parts have ever been sold for that amount.
