That's right, folks, it's Patch Notes (Natch Potes?) meme thread time! So welcome to all!
For those of you who are new here (especially those of you who have come over from World of Warcraft), allow your favorite lord, Lord Arena25, to explain the rules and regulations: This thread serves as a place to vent, post patch notes memes, and overall just act silly while we wait through the long downtime to eventually get the patch notes from our wonderful ZeniMax admin Gina Bruno. This thread has been a tradition carried on by our lovely forum community since the game launched in 2014...and possibly since these forums existed.
Now, what are patch notes memes? These are memes and/or gifs created by the lovely forum community to both have fun...and poke fun at Zeni, whom had a reputation (at least in the early days) of ESO to not post the patch notes until the closing stages of maintenance. There are patch notes memes/gifs that are mainstays in any serious patch notes thread (such as the patch notes seagulls and the "Walk out, slowly, with your natch potes in the air" meme) and those that are crafted for a very specific patch (like this morning's patch).
It is this lord's belief that proper patch notes memes will be much better explained if Lord Arena25 shows examples rather than tells you about them. So, allow yours truly to start this party by posting a meme that is hot off the press and the old classic, the patch notes seagulls. First, the brand new meme (which Lord Arena25 created himself):

As it is getting late and Lord Arena25 needs to sleep so he's well rested for when he challenges 2 other lords tomorrow morning for the ownership rights of a castle nearby, my scribe Shedelin will be your point of contact tonight. Please be nice to her, she's frustrated as a result of calculating how much debt I've incurred over the course of the first part of the Season of the Dragon (including but not limited to filled soul gem debt, gold debt, Tel Var stones debt, etc.)

Yes, this one and Lord Arena25 is aware of Grumpy Cat's passing. There was a reason both this one and Arena25 made memes related to Grumpy Cat for the patch notes meme thread...to both hype us up to visit the Khajiiti lands and to memorialize Grumpy Cat.

Scribe Shedelin here. While I would love nothing more than to change the title to Natch Potes, Lord Arena25 has expressly prohibited it. He said, “Every time the title of the thread is changed to Natch Potes, something bad happens in the world. Last time I allowed it, my castle was shut down for three days due to an outbreak of disease. I will no longer allow it!”
