What, you didnt know, sorc is op right now, ask the pvp combat lead dev, who is now the overall combat lead dev for all that is eso.

And I heard he uses a sorc, just saying.

Magplar dps is quite good atm. As far as I heard they beat magsorc by a mile but too many players are pissed about petsorc in pvp and wont give you the real pictur.

Just look at how the second reply you got is a whiny pvper dispite the fact that you are clearly asking about pve.

Do you have any idea how PvE has *** over magblades in PvP? Cost increase to swallow soul, losing minor vitality, getting the heal nerfed, refreshing path losing the damage component, etc. all because magblade dps was "healing too well while doing too high DPS."

PVE complaints also ruin it for PVP people too.

I think top tier pve dps is magblade. There was a time when magsorcs were the top dog. However, I think if you play well you can be very close to the top class with any other class.

I play all 3. My Breton Magplar is putting my sorc and magblade to shame with dps.

They’re similar in terms of kit and output. Both magsorc and magplar are in a pretty good spot atm.

pet sorc has easiest possible static rotaion with heavy attack, so infinite sustain with blue food, no atro mundus, no recovery glyphs. All damage is AoE, ton of health (pet passive and blue food), reduced ulti cost, super strong burst heal and selfheals, especially if you go Necro + Sorrow. Crafty Alfiq viable too this days and with Horn you pretty much end by having 70k magicka pool

45k+ dps with just 4 skills in rotation, full self buff. It's cuz pets have very strong passive damage. If you do parse with just Daedric Prey and pets (no light/heavy, no other skills, nothing, just pets basic attack and Prey), you will see about 13-14k DPS. You almost literally do nothing and get 14k dps.

1-Nightblade
2-Warden (Stamina for godsake)
3-Sorcerer
