Login Error Message and Login Timeout Message

I'm logging into the game, and every time I do that, I get an error message. One would say "login timeout" after waiting a while for the game to log in, and the other would say "error code 301" after I log in following. I've waited for a good time after the message came up, but still having problems logging in. I've also tried allowing the game to go pass my firewall and antivirus programs. Finally, I repaired and updated my launcher and that didn't do it either. I need help, please?

Is your game located on the same hard drive as your Operating System?

Here are some steps you can try that may be able to help
1.Close both the game and the launcher
    2.Open the game installation directory
    3.Open the folder named "Launcher"
4.Inside the "Launcher" folder, there is a folder named "ProgramData"
5.Rename the "ProgramData" folder to "ProgramDataBackup"
6.Open the launcher and download update
    7.Click "Play"

The servers just came back up about an hour ago... you could reboot your machine and check your network connections. Verify other game services work, or that you can even log into another MMORPG.

Beyond that... You'll likely need to email their support at:

    Hail Defiler of Molag Bal!

I see you're getting Error 301. That is mostly caused by a connection issue, so there are a few things you can try to get things working again! I recommend, if you already haven't, running a hardline from your computer to your modem. Next I'd like you to do a DNS Flush. If you don't know how to do a DNS Flush, here are some instructions below:

Please follow these steps to flush your DNS:

    Windows 8:

Press Win+X to open the menu
Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter
If it was successful, you will see the message "Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache."
Power cycle the router to clear the cache so that it doesn't store the bad route

    Windows 7:

    Click on the Start button
Type cmd in the Start Menu
Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as Administrator
Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter
If it was successful, you will see the message "Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache."
Power cycle the router to clear the cache so that it doesn't store the bad route

    Windows XP:

    Click on the Start button
On the Start menu, click Run
Type "ipconfig /flushdns" and hit enter
Power cycle the router to clear the cache so that it doesn't store the bad route

    Mac OS :

Open up a Terminal application. It is located in Applications/Utilities/Terminal
Enter the command : sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
You will be prompted to input your administrator password

If that doesn't work can you please post a copy of your Game Consultant Report please? Game Consultant is a specialized diagnostic tool designed to identify issues that may be affecting a player's Elder Scrolls Online play experience. It captures information that can be vital to troubleshooting any hardware issue.

Here is how to find and use it:

Click on the golden cog icon in the top right corner of the game launcher.
Under SETTINGS - LAUNCHER, select the ABOUT tab. This tab includes the current launcher version, minimum specifications, and information about Game Consultant.
Click the "Game Consultant" button beneath the tool description.
A new window will pop up. When it does, click "Run Tests." This may take a few minutes.
When the test is complete, a new window will pop up saying "Success!" The report saves itself as a text file called Report.txt in the My Documents folder.
To retrieve the file, click the "Open Report Location" button on the Game Consultant window, or click "Open Report" to simply view it.
