It's not "primetime". It's not that there's an event going on. ZOS has just given up on its servers and players. Focus on your new game while we check out Camelot Unchained.

if you mean in pvp. there was defiantly some shenanigans afoot. I noticed as soon as AD got a scroll back the runner DC'd like 30 sec later. after that, the next runner DC'd another 30 sec later, at first I thought they got killed and it was just a normal scroll drop, but then everyone was talking about it in chat.

it was not even huge fights or 3 way fights, it was just random DC at weird moments.
    ESO player since beta.
    game got too disappointing.

I know you are experienced in this game and have been around for awhile, but if you are disconnecting there are other sources and causes besides Zos. Yes, I know we have plenty of issues regardless of our benevolent leader stating Zos is "killing it", but have seen first hand more local issues causing disconnects.

ESO is not very favorable to even a fraction of a second loss or virtual loss of connection. I had to use TS to actually see and verify what was going on since I would get DCed but I could do other stuff on the internet. Just one of a few experiences.

Edit: Yes, I know everyone's internet is working perfectly. In fact my internet provider said nothing was wrong as well, until their service tech came out and ran tests the remote CS cannot run and there was a real issue and it was not the fault of Zos.

    This little portion may apply...…….

"Longer term: we are spinning up additional hardware in both our NA and EU datacenters in order to support our growing user base. We expect the time frame for this to be about two weeks, but we will keep you posted. And yes, we are adding more capacity to PC NA as well as EU because we are rapidly approaching the same problem in NA and want to get ahead of it!

I live in Brazil, constant high ping, a somewhat bad internet connection... No disconnects at all yesterday or today, playing PC NA for hours on cyrodiil and out.

Your issue is probably client side, by the looks of it. ZoS has tons of server issues but not like that. I'd check routing through ping on Windows, reboot router, check firewall and antivírus for random shenanigans, scan the game install for errors and only then I'd blame ZoS. Have you done all that yet?

Also, this game is VERY unforgiving about losing connection. A split second without it and you're done. I've been DCd before literally by switching from wifi to cable, withing the same freaking network... So there's that.

I dunno what the cause is, and don't take this the wrong way.

Computer I had was a standard desk top. I could tell when it was about to dc. There would be a moment of hesitation first, then - Hey! Look! It's the Log-in screen. Dcd once or twice per 3 hour game session, had low FPS.

Bought a decent gaming computer with intel i7- 8700 processor, Nvidia 1070. Now when I get that rare hesitation the screen freezes for 1 - 3 seconds, I take my hands off the keyboard and wait, and it then continues on. Haven't actually been dcd in a long time, although I have not been in cyradil much. cyradil seems to have the most complaints.

No doubt there is a server side issue, but it may be a combination of how well the server works with player side system.

Agreed. Server lag has been really bad the last few days. Ping is fine, but all kinds of stuff happening that shouldn’t occur until you’re well over 500 ping.

I know this issue myself all too well. I've had my fair share of experiences of it too "game DC's, but everything else works".
But isn't that the fault of ZOS though? How come their, and only their connectivity, is setup to be so sensitive whilst virtually no other publisher has the same issue?

    Disco'd twice tonight in PvE.

    Walked into a wayshrine.
Came out of it at a log-in screen.
    Twice.

    L2ARPU Issue.

PVP players need to step up their Crown Store game! You're being outplayed by The Sims players.

DC'd twice just now.Non-pvp zones. Yesterday around this same time multiple crashes as well. Reminded me a lot when in Cyrodiil and you get lagged out from a 60 man zerg after porting to an unflagged keep before the battle begins. Lots of people standing around before DC. Not a prime hour either. :open_mouth:

In the last 1.5 hours I've been dropped to Login 4 times. All I was doing was my daily crafting and hitting the bank. Haven't had this issue in a couple of months.

Yet people still mindlessly keep giving zos money through eso+ and crowns.

Seriously, keep doing that and all they take it as they are doing their job right, hence why servers have not had any real fixes since launch.

If the masses stopped to put a dent in their money train, they would in turn listen to your 'request' for an acceptable standard of performance.

I disconnected 3 times in a row and I logged out because trying to roleplay during that crap was impossible.

See this ZOS? Not only has the disconnecting effected PVP and PVE... now it's ruining ERP. When will it end?!?!
