Not a big deal but I wouldn't mind if horse training lined up with the same daily reset time as many other daily things.

Whats stopping you from training your horse(s) at the same time every day?
You want your horse on a 24 hour timer, so feed it every 24 hours.

sigh, some people have variable schedules. they. cannot. log in. at. the same. time. every. day.

set daily timer means they can feed their horse, for example, right before the timer restarts and right after it does. the way you can run pledges now, both sets in the same evening. or you can run one pledge in the morning, one in the afternoon, whatever works and STILL be able to do all the pledges of the day - this day, and the next day. set reset timers allow for convenience for ALL.

It's because horses all change their age on January 1st, and the humans have a 12-month cooldown since their last birthday.

There are several threads asking for timers to be changed or made easier to keep track of. I made a poll back in February where the majority voted for daily timer standardisation. As far as I'm aware there has never been any comment by ZOS on this topic. Maybe soon(TM)?

Relax @yRaven, its not the end of the world, there will always be a next day(lie).

But but but... opening the Conquest Mission Board pouch at the 19th hour. :#

I generally like to log in early in the morning and do my game 'chores'. Any external events I may have in the morning or extended maintenance/patch updates disrupt this for me about once a week or two. As I said, not a big deal but would prefer a daily reset instead of 20 hour time.

As stated in a post above:
    Set your own reset time.
    1. Skip a day.
    2. Feed your horse at whatever time you want to.
    3. It will be ready to be fed 24 hours later.

And there will always be just as many people who can't log in until XX minutes after whatever reset time is decided upon, so they would never get any benefit from the before/after reset you propose.
