Enchantment suggestion: allow item deconstruction

While it is quite possible to level enchantment, it is the slowest craft to level, as many people have noted. Yes, there are ways, but it is definite!y the ugly stepchild.

My suggestion is to allow xp and either glyphs or runes to be extracted from any existing enchanted item. The xp should be low and it should probably drop runes because glyphs would bypass the craft entirely, but istm that this change would put enchantment on a much more even footing with the other crafts.

This also seems 'sensible' to me in that deconstructing items *should* be a good way to get 'inspiration'.

You can deconstruct glyphs already. It's the fastest way to level up enchanting at the moment.

Enchanting is supposed to level slow. Level 20 enchanting makes gear for levels 35-45.

I may not have been clear enough: I meant decon enchanted items. Eg. 'Armour of Magicka +12' should have a chance of dropping a rune if deconstructed at an enchanting station.

I believe your conclusion is based on a false premise. The same is true for blacksmithing: level 20 gives ebony, which are level 45 items, and id guess the same is true for clothing and woodworking.

Yet they are all much easier to level.
