If this is common knowledge I apologise it I just found out if you install the official Xbox app you can connect it to the Xbox one and when typing use the phone instead of the virtual keyboard it’s a really big qol improvement for me.

✭✭Well I've had no luck with my wireless keyboard. It works for the Xbox home screen just fine, but not with ESO. I've turned the text chat on in the game settings but nada. Is there a setting on the Xbox I need to have toggled correctly? I did double check that I wasn't in "offline" mode."It is a lovely language, but it takes a very long time saying anything in it, because we do not say anything in it, unless it is worth taking a long time to say, and to listen to." - Treebeard0 -

I agree, but it has it's limitations. While in game you have to hit the 'enter' button on the wireless keyboard to prompt the text window to open so that you can start typing. If you just start typing regular buttons (letters/numbers) on your keyboard it will not enter into text chat.Feric51
