I should have added; while I don't understand, I don't think less of those who worked hard to grind the gold, because you're still playing the game, and at the end of the day, it's your gold and and your game. Sorry, didn't mean to come off high strung, was just speaking solely from my own perspective. :P It's actually decent of you to be bravely honest about it. Then less people fall for scams thru referrals, and those who want to get gold by doing what they're good at can get more business.

I just know from personal experience that sometimes the effort after isn't so rewarding long term. It's like "YAY! I got this! Now what?" so groups will turn to carrying others for gold. If a group can sell a 3M gold carry that takes 15 minutes (vAS), that's about 272K gold a person. Make that an hour and each player made little over 1M gold in one hour. That means they can spend it on something they want now like motifs they don't have, housing, gear, ect. Maybe the end game trial players don't like farming for materials so they buy it instead while the one who enjoys farming materials will sell the stuff to the trial player. I see it as balance honestly.

While I haven't, I most certainly have no issue with folks who treat videogames as videogames, not a second job to impress a bunch of random strangers who honestly don't care how much effort you put into getting whatever reward it is these types of gamers are proud of.

Let me be very clear, I'm not bashing anyone who puts value on cosmetics and wants to earn them for self pride, just those who try to shame or ridicule those who treat videogames as videogames, all so they can impress a bunch of complete strangers.

As someone else mentioned, I create characters, not builds and if something fits with that character I'm keen to attain it, just not willing to treat a videogame like a job to acquire it though, especially if other means are available.

That out of the way- looking for a carry for that beast personality lol!

Huh? Do you believe that receiving any monetary compensation for a service is being "greedy" and that paying for any sort of service instead of doing everything yourself is being "lazy?" That's a little strange, but each to their own judgementalism, I guess.

I've carried people for money, mostly through vAS+2 for the silver skin. There is a dedicated discord for that stuff on PC EU.
I don't see any reason why people shouldn't pay for a carry and get the skins that way. Something actually has to be done ingame for that. If ZOS sold the same skins in the store, I'd be very upset about it. Buying a carry still means you actually have to join a group and run the content. Interacting with people, crazy idea in an MMO...

I know your name from PVP and I totally understand if PVP players who like the skins just buy a carry. I'd do the same. I'd probably buy PVP carries if that was possible.

Around here, you'd be surprised. Decades down the line, they will sit their grandkids on their knee and tell them how they once bested vMoL whilst others hid in the trenches letting others dodge the bullets.

I don't need a carry, but years down the road if I still haven't found a trials guild that can 100% the trials then heck it, I'll try buying 11 friends from the temp agency.
