@DovahkiinHeart I did not take you as high strung at all!DovahkiinHeart wrote: »Kuramas9tails wrote: »Because some of us [snip] about status of what some of these skins/personalities may mean to others and strictly see it as a visual cosmetic on a video game that has 0 effect on real life and is simply there for me to enjoy on my own characters. Darn right I will parade around with my Worm personality! I will even be truthful and say I bought a carry! I honestly don't care. I love the personality and I have plenty of useless gold that I can put forth towards a cosmetic I want. I worked with progression groups and I said "[snip] That" and stopped. That is too much work and stressful. I will gladly pay others to carry me than deal with the progression groups again. I use to be mad at people who would parade in Maw skins who got carried when I was in the middle of a progression group earning ours but once finally getting it, I changed my mind. I even paid for other people to get the MAW skin as a gift. I think that is why groups who complete these trials don't care about carrying and sharing the skin.
Now I will be impressed if someone does something in real life that deserves the attention but a video game? Naw. Don't have time for that.
I should have added; while I don't understand, I don't think less of those who worked hard to grind the gold, because you're still playing the game, and at the end of the day, it's your gold and and your game. Sorry, didn't mean to come off high strung, was just speaking solely from my own perspective. :P It's actually decent of you to be bravely honest about it. Then less people fall for scams thru referrals, and those who want to get gold by doing what they're good at can get more business.
