Battle Resurrection Limit

LoveForElderScrolls
Should there be a limit on how many times you can get resurrected by an ally? Currently, there's no cost if players die too much and can get infinite resurrection by their allies. Having a limit can make the necromancer's role more important because they have access to instant resurrection.

    Whole resurrection is wrong.

They should ban this for cyrodiil because imagine if you meet group in pvp areas (even smallscale) of 4-5 necromancers. That could make them invincible

Like sure, they die, but whats point of killing them if they can just ressed instantly. And we can be sure there will be trolls of such kind

Give it cooldown, like what is on forward camps, 3 minutes only and its good

No. There is a cost to resurrection as it is. It is called time since we must channel resurrecting someone.

If that same person keeps dying because they are a bad player and you keep resurrecting them that is a personal problem with your own decision making process and not a game issue.

Further, people keep getting confused about the necromancer resurrection. It is an ultimate so it is not available on demand. If a player on a necro wants to keep wasting their ultimate on a player who stands in stupid then that again falls into a person problem with their decision making.

It is also bad design to push players out of Cyrodiil because they are laying on their back waiting for a 3 minute timer to end. Even Zos has enough sense to see that is a bad idea that would most certainly kill Cyrodiil once and for all.

Regardless, a time out is not the solution, a stacking resurrection sickness debuff absolutely is needed.

Resurrection ultimate should’ve never been introduced. Can already see a bunch of zergling tanks who just build into health and use the Rez ultimate when they outnumber opponents. Such a terrible ability to be introduced.

If you want to drive players out of PvP and kill what is left of PvP in ESO that is a fabulous idea.

Beside the very solid fact that resurrecting players has not been an issue since day one of this game and you nor OP have even tried to suggest a reason otherwise, it is just not very bright to be punitive like that and discourage new and less experienced players to enter Cyrodiil.

If the ultimate proves to be a little to strong then Zos will dial it back like they did time stop.

Frankly it ridiculous to assume such a change would drive away players. Cyrodil is the epitome of casual low stakes, all inclusive pvp egagement which caters to a very broad player demographic. The fact is we have forward camps and keep stones for a reason to get players from a to b and back into pvp activity. Resurrecting hasnt been a vocal issue but it has most assuredly always been a point of contention. You have large groups already with a head count advantage regardless of skill having the additional perk of resurrecting players under the sheath of population making any sort of counter play from smaller more experienced groupsthst much harder to deal with despite outplaying the opposition.

A punishment for death has been needed for a long time, and if that means a veryb mall select subset of players play in cyrodil less then so be it, lord knows the sevrers wouldnt mind. They can get their participation trophies elsewhere.

wow, just took a look at the necromancer skill sets:
    https://elderscrollsonline.wiki.fextralife.com/Necromancer+Skills

they are loaded...I'm not sure though it'll be worth slotting an ult that rezzes 3 allies...I guess for those whom participate in small group play...

300+ ult cost makes that an incredibly specific tool
