A final plea to the devs about shuffle

I 100% dont expect that any devs will even look at this thread but anyways:

Please consider buffing shuffle by increasing the duration of the snare/immobolisation immunity it provide.

I dont know who enjoys the current snare meta where people slog around at 10% of regular movement speed.

I just dont understand, whats the point of running medium armour right now? Damage? You can get the same damage in heavy while having vastly better survivability.

70% snared in heavy? Who cares, you can just slam on S/B, and blockheal through that ***, put on pirate skeleton and dont even have to worry about blocking.

If you go into any high MMR bg its all the same deal with everyone running tanky setups, and groups layer the ground with ice wall etc, and just tank and spank till utli dump.

Meanwhile in medium you are forced to run 2-3 protective just so you dont get blown up in 2 seconds, its really stupid.

Of course i complain, the current meta of brutal snares is completely un-enjoyable.

Note that i am not asking for any nerfs, but shuffle as it is, is cost ineffiecent, compared to how cheap most heavy snare skills are.

Medium armor users should be able to move around more freely, they already sacrafice increased healing/tankyness to use medium over heavy.

Should also add that since the major expedition nerfs, it is already harder to get the one up in terms of speed, compared to heavy or light armor.

While I think that snares in general need tuning (diminishing returns or just a flat nerf) shuffle could use an increased immunity duration for the time being. In 6 medium you get 3 seconds of immunity for 3k. Thats 1k a second or the equivalent of 2k recovery just to keep it up. In full 7/7 medium you only get 3.5 seconds which is still LESS than the 4 seconds that forward momentum gets at more cost. Not to mention FM also heals and gives major brutality.

Its uncommon to see a stamina build not running two-hand for this reason.

Medium armor has a lot of problems for stamina users, lack of any magic regen, lack of penetration, lack of resistances, too little crit bonus, shuffle being turd, lack of good sets.(For example compare senche to armor of the truth, this is a reoccuring theme, medium sets are always inferior, and sadly penetration sets such as spriggan were victims of PvE meta nerfs.)

When speed pots were nerfed there was an actual reason to run medium and it was mobility and snare immunity through shuffle. Now that is also pointless because with RAT everyone can have snare immunity, medium armor is once again, pointless.

Yall at like you can't run a heavy set like fury in 5 medium.

Medium is fine, the only gripe i can give it is the sets that come in medium. The armor bonuses themselves are fine.

You can. However the playstyle suits heavy armor passives and playstyle much better.

I think everyone can agree that it would be a more balanced and fun to use skill if it had either longer snare immunity, or the cost of the skill was slightly reduced.

Funny I created a thread during the first week of PTS asking for small increase in snare immunity to shuffle. I was told it might be overkill given the changes to snares/immobilizations in upcoming Elsweyr expansion. Medium overall is ok, but a little bit off compared to light and heavy (speaking for pvp). I think medium can benefit from slight adjustments in the future (increase to snare to shuffle, increase to stam resources, etc..).

Maybe change the improved sneak passive so that in addition to what it provides currently for sneak, make it: increase stamina by 125 per medium armor piece worn (at level 1) --> increase stamina by 250 per medium armor piece worn (level 2)

Shuffle can have 2 sec base snare/immobilization immunity plus .5 sec increase in immunity per medium armor used (so 4.5 secs for 5 pieces of medium armor and up to 5.5 secs for 7 pieces of medium armor).

***Overall I think changing the "improved sneak passive" that provides 0 in combat utility (cannot sneak while in combat) is a place ZOS can improve medium armor for PVE and PVP players***
