Breton or High elf for PVE Mag DPS?

Please ignore looks and only focus on DPS performance:
Which race is best at PVE DPS? As far as I understand Bretons are better at solo PVE (because of their better sustain and magic resistance) while Altmers are better at group PVE (since they pump more damage and get their sustain from the team). Am I correct?

✭✭I've got an altmer magplar and noticed 0 difference after the racial passive changes. Do you still have to heavy attack on your dummy parsis with your Breton? Because I just hate having to interrupt the parsis with heavy attacks.The Gaming Rev

Those are my average scores. All my characters wear the same exact gear:Julianos/Mother's Sorrow/Zaan. I do have to use a couple of heavy attacks to sustain on my Dark Elf Sorcerer and I don't use twisting path when parsing with my Dark Elf Magblade. While I do more damage with my Dark Elves because of the spell damage buff, I prefer not to run out of magicka during harder content.

SoLooney✭✭✭✭✭High elf on recovery food will still outparse breton on bi stat. They're both still incredibly close and both races are viable options for end game magplar pve dps.
The whole point of breton though is to use bi stat food cause of their amazing sustain. If you're using recovery food on a breton, you lost out completely to a high elf1
