Wait queues on NA server too now?

I just logged in to the NA server to be told that I had been placed in a queue for the server. I was aware that this was a thing on the EU server, but I had not seen any info that it was an NA thing too. Has anyone else experienced this too?

Being put into a login queue is not new; it happened to me a few times on the PC NA server long before it was instituted as a regular thing during peak hours on the EU server. I was never in the queue for more than several seconds-- not sure how long, but it was always for less than half of a minute, like maybe 10 or 15 seconds tops.

I don't know whether ZOS has instituted a login queue as a regular thing on the NA server, but I'd think they'd announce it if they did, the way they announced it for the EU server.

Been that way for me on pc/na for a while now, never lasts longer than a few seconds anyway

Yes, had this on pc-eu to before. Think its two queues, one is for the login process itself, at some of the most popular times to log in it can get queues here but this is just seconds.
The pc-eu problem was to many players on the servers, they added more servers and the problem went away.

Didn’t they upgrade the servers just so this wouldn’t happen? Or did they decide they’d wait until it got really bad with Elsweyr also.

I haven't experienced a queue yet, but it's only a matter of time when you have guys like Asmongold and Shroud streaming with 20k+ viewers. Nixxiom also has a decent following on youtube and he has been pumping out ESO videos lately. Kevduit also released his first ESO video in a while.

The servers are going to explode when Elsweyr comes out. Get the popcorn ready and enjoy the show.

1:21 a.m. (when this thread was posted) is definitely not prime time for any NA server. That's the most worrisome thing to me....

Last time I was put into a queue for logging in on EU was about a week after the announcement, and I mainly play weekends and evenings. Not sure it's gone completely but I've not seen it.

That's the thing with forums though. Lots of noise when something bad happens, total silence when it goes back to normal. (Actually not just forums, that's people in general. I have the same problem with my work - I know when something goes wrong because I get 80 emails about it, I have to assume I fixed it successfully if they stop because no one will ever tell me it's working again.)

It could be more attention and people moving to eso in larger numbers plus a large number of eu players just going over to Na Instead. Most likely its both if there is so very popular streamers from wow that have millions of followers and they are now streaming for Eso that could also play a factor into all of this.

I still get the queue pop up when I log in, though it doesn't last very long.

What "service" do you use when you now get the "que"?

When I log-in to PC/NA using the ZOS service I get no que.

When I log-in with the STEAM "service" I sometimes get a "30 sec" que on PC/NA since the last year I've been logging in there on second account.

I am not using Steam at all.

I saw one the other night, too. It claimed 30 seconds, but flickered away almost immediately and let me in.

(Not on Steam, fwiw.)
