ESO is actually one of the most stable and better MMOs. That I have played in my 16 plus years of MMO experience, through many MMO titles. That is the truth!

I have played alot of mmos. Listen here zippy! BDO is a good game. Youre talking about bdo as if they deleted those classes recently. That was in the beginning stages. Not after 5 years like eso.
Even Dcuo which was and is a crappy game is more stable than ESO. Yourr builds are fine no matter when you come back.
Hell. If youre definition of stable is nerfing youre builds every 2 to 3 month, then have at it.
For sane people who make there own builds and spend hours and weeks creating effective new and unique builds, this game will waste that time. Some of you have time to waste. Good for you. Mine is valuable and I certainly am not going to pay someone to make my time a complete waste simply because devs want to give the illusion they are

wildstar. - shut down
neverwinter - is literally currently undergoing a gigantic shift with new expansion where classes were COMPLETELY redesigned, scaling is all sorts of messed up to the point where they are releasing patches every FEW DAYS to try and fix it up. and this is not first or second or third time this happen - it pretty much happens every. major. Neverwinter. patch.
SWTOR - underwent as many if not more class redesigns than ESO in LESS TIME
GW - which one, first or second? first is stable cause its practically a single player game, second - oh lordie. they have delayed content patches to fix gameplay issues.
City of heroes - shut down
Star Trek - same issues as Neverwinter.
and those are just games that I can speak of from personal experience oh and unlike ESO? all but GW2 - make you relevel and RE-GEAR FROM SCRATCH every damn major content release.
dude. what in a world are you smoking? cause that's some powerful stuff
@SkerKro flavor of the month, I keep mixing up my flashes and flavors, especially since some of those really are like a flash in a pan. god, i remember most of the ones you brought up. I also remember when for a while, they buffed the crap out of my BM hunter for a bit, and then nerfed it so hard that a whole bunch of us just stood in front of the target dummies after trying "new and improved" hunter - shellshocked. and I stand corrected about the source!
but anyways, yeah, the irony here is that horizontal progression is WHY this game is far more stable than most on the list.
because unless i'm trying to be in a top 1% or something, i can come back years down the road and still play with the same build and gear. pick up where i left off. its actualy part of the reason i'm on current hiatus from Neverwinter - current expansions did a number of several classes i like to play, and its not that i cannot adjust to changes, its that like the last few times I came back to, and left again Neverwinter? those changes are just not fun, so i'm waiting until, hopefully they come to their senses and make some adjustments.
strom arena, nerf event drops, nerf transmutation drops, nerf race against time, nerf draining shot, nerf nightblade, nerf sorc, nerf dragonknight, nerf major evasion, nerf sub assault, nerf wings, nerf ravager, nerf blocking, nerf dodge rolling, nerf cloak, nerf mist form, nerf enchants, nerf spin to win, nerf argonians, nerf orcs, nerf snipe, nerf master's staff, nerf healing, nerf solar flare, nerf necromancer, nerf dot ticks, nerf crafting...did I miss anything? These forums are filled with whiny entitled players who don't want challenging game play they want to beat everybody and all content with the least amount of skill possible. So the question is when will we stop trying to nerf everything before the game becomes an echo of itself?
I could actually list all the nerfs and nerf overs throughout the history of this game. But, I would rather someone else do it.
I took this from another post to demonstrate how tiree a lot of us have become of manufacturee instability in this game just so devs can fee like you have done something innovative with the game.
If anyone wants to add other nerfs that devs have riddled the game with. Pls be my guest and list them. Some have been nerfed, buffed, nerfed angain and buffed again.
Ridiculousness

You mean that private server? That's not "In Operation", that's someone "hopefully" building a server with their own written code. Not the same bud lol.
And now that you mention it, 13k crowns, ESO +, Elsweyr Collector's edition is definitely not enough, I should definitely buy some more stuff from ZOS tonight.

ESO is actually one of the most stable and better MMOs. That I have played in my 16 plus years of MMO experience, through many MMO titles. That is the truth!
There are only two that I can think of that are more stable than ESO. That's Guild Wars 2 and Eve Online.
Wild Star (More Stable)
EveSkyforge
Neverwinter (More Stable)
Guild Wars (More Stable)
Star Wars Old Rep (More Stable)
Star Trek ((More Stable)
Dcuo (More Stable)
City of Heros (More Stable)
Tera
Champion Online (More Stable)
Yeah...but I havent play any mmos...I played mmos before most of youre were even born.

Lmfao!
P.S. look a the list. You didnt think very hard.
dies from laughter.
wildstar. - shut down
neverwinter - is literally currently undergoing a gigantic shift with new expansion where classes were COMPLETELY redesigned, scaling is all sorts of messed up to the point where they are releasing patches every FEW DAYS to try and fix it up. and this is not first or second or third time this happen - it pretty much happens every.

I think you and me play two different gw2, my guild wars 2 doesnt have to re gear from stratch, a ALOT more stable, only two expansions yet 5 times the content of eso. Raids are more stable. More group content, more story content. Yeah crafting is a lottle hard but eso is window licking easy.
Communities, there are massive gaps in the community, wheres the sea communities? The oce communities? I dont mean the little clické groups, actual tangible populations? Nope zos killed them off by poor service and bad ping.
Eso one class meta per patch vsing gw2s 8 class meta?
Now lets get into the main thing wvw/cyrodiil... Wow big difference there, as wvw is a proper competition set up, actually populated whereas eso cyrodiil is a 5 year old lunchbox forgotten about under someones bed. Ping is stable (200ms for a aussie, without the use of a 3rd party subscription to a vpn... Can any aussie here get that in cyrodiil with more than 50 people on screen?... Didnt think so).
Dont get me wrong, im a elder scrolls fanboy aswell but the mmo is a far shot from what the single player games are. With every patch turning it into a outdate, badly code abomination of the elder scrolls series.

Crafts_Many_Boxes wrote: »The problem is that they need to continuously nerf us to combat any sort of power increase created by the CP system / strong new sets. This is because of horizontal progression.
The reason other MMOs don't nerf as much is because they just re-tool certain skills entirely when the next expansion drops, or it scales differently due to new levels, or they just nerf it and nobody notices because at least they're getting stronger with the new level cap, gear cap, etc.
With ESO, new expansions don't come with increased level cap, and what little tiny marginal power increase we got with CP is now seemingly gone. Generally speaking, I haven't done more dps in almost 2 years now. The mathematical ceiling has risen, but unless you're in bleeding edge trials groups with perfect coordination, you probably haven't seen a dps increase of more than 2-3k in years, assuming your own skill level has stayed the same. There are exceptions for some class / stat combos, but this is generally true.
From a technical perspective, continuous nerfs may be necessary given the model they've chosen and how difficult or engaging they dictate certain content must be, but it just feels bad being nerfed all the time.
I've made a lot of posts about this in the past, and I'll keep on saying it until it's not true: ZOS needs to rethink horizontal progression, because long term it just isn't >>>> FUN <<<<, and that's the point of any game.

I don't think it would be feasible to even try to list all the nerfs/adjustments.
It's a near constant stream of changes in totality to play.
Like... the game right now is so vastly different from it's original release.
I guess you can't claim that the devs are inactive though... it's actually been a bit too much and too heavy handed.

He does like to complain though. Likely puts in more time complaining rather than actually playing the game. Could be a Russian bot. idk

I'm gonna second this. Played every single one of those. Especially when it comes to Blade and Soul. NCSoft threw that game under the bus. I still play casually, but me and two friends pretty much abandoned it after one free weekend of ESO on steam made us realize there was so much more to do in this game than in most games out there.
