We are currently investigating issues some players are having on the North American megaservers. We will update as new information becomes available.

We really should introduce new staves and weapons

The current elements of the destruction staff kinda really go against the aestic theme of necromancers. It would be nice to see new element types maybe even a new weapon for Stam classes also. Coldfire, dark, light, nature could all be new elements built into staves. I really think we need more options to help players look and play how they want. The current ones feel extremely limited

    I wish they were open to them, I really do. But I have suggested things in the past, and have been answered with nothing.

    I think the combat team may need authorization to go forward on projects. I am assuming someone is directing them towards some projects and away from others. But what do I know

    They are building a new game they don't care about ESO anymore hence why there are no bug fixes, lag fixes, server fixes or qol fixes we all ask for.

    They are only concerned about the crown store and filling our bags with event crap to squeeze out the last ESO subscription.

    I mean...stam classes have plenty of weapons already.

    Way I see it if there were to be new weapons, they should be magic based.

    Stam has more weapons, but magicka has far more skills than stam. I think both play styles could use new weapons. We've been asking for this for years... I have a feeling we will be asking for years to come.

    TBH, fire, frost and lightning have been the only elemental staves in the entire elder scrolls series. Necros would fit with either lightning or frost.

    I'd rather see actual "summoned" bound weapons for mag toons than other dmg type staves.

    I feel at the moment the only weapon that should be added is a defensive magicka weapon so that Frost staves can used for DPS.

    It'd be cool if they add Alteration tanking staves and give Frost spell penetration instead.

    I could see a magic dammage staff come in with direct damage buff
    Frost back to dps with crit bonus
    Alteration staff for buff and such
    Illusion s5aff for aggro /fear and such

    Necros in the Elder Scrolls have been using cold as their main Destruction magic element, along with Conjuration. If we were to add new staves, it should be on Elder Scrolls schools of magic like a Conjuration Staff, Alteration Staff, or Illusion Staff.

    I'd like to see more support based weapons. Things focusing on buffs, debuffs, and crowd control. As well as changes to content to allow for those abilities to be as strong as damaging abilities in usefulness.

    Love your OP. Yes to polearms and spears. In fact, yes to all your weapons and non weapons ideas (I just happen to love the idea of a stamplar with a polearm :) ). A few nitpicks with the implementation, but in general that was a pretty awesome post.

    By this you mean dw/bow builds right? Because this all (end game) stam dps use.

    We dont need new weps /maybe unarmed/
    What we need is a balance of the weapon skill lines we already have, so ppl wont be forced to pick dw/bow if they want to be acepted in vet content as dps...

    Unslot your weapons and cast some of your class skills. Now imagine having a line of skills you can cast without having a weapon. Something would need to be slotted for the set bonuses and weapon/spell damage but your hands would be free.

    The problem is the way ESO is balances they would either, be totaly useless or the new meta making everything else useless.

    A staff that shoots the green spriggan stuff, saps target resources. Still bummed there is no option for wardens to have a sprig instead of a bear. Would be nice to have a meele bear if you are speced for range and a ranged sprig if you are speced for meele.

    I'd also like the option to hide staff and see the element in my hands instead, works the same just a visual change.

    Also lute weapon but I'll have to wait for the bard support class to release for that one.
