Make silence affect stam

Make silence affect all skills regardless, or a stam silence for a mag class. If this affected these stamblades they wouldn't be out here trying to act like nothing is wrong lol. Try it out. List in the pts that it will affect stam skills to, bet they LOSE THEIR MINDS

While I get where your head is at, it's a bad solution. There is a reason that negate is arguably the most powerful ultimate in group play. Silence is extremely powerful, mostly because it shuts down your healers and the ability to purge. The flipside is that negate is almost useless 1v1 as all your opponent has to do is walk or roll out of it. Negate is strong when used wisely, but you also dont see the forums exploding about it because it has many counters, including itself (counter negate).

The idea of putting it on a single target ability with a fixed duration is just flawed. It's OP to the point of being gamebreaking. It makes the unblockable and undodgeable rune cage look like a great idea in comparison.

Rather than make it effect everyone (just making stamblades even more powerful), they need to go back to the drawing board on this one.

Here's a point, people say "what can a NB really do in 3 seconds"? It's actually what a zerg can do in 3 seconds. How many nightblades slapping incap on you would mean you're facing more than just 3 seconds, but rather 2 incaps, or 3 incaps, or god knows how many nightblades zerg in AD faction.

ZOS is proud to listen to us after 2 years and nerf shieldbreaker, but bring back something even worst than just a set itself integrated in a cheap ultimate ability. I would rather get shieldbreakered than silenced, atleast I can heal, fight back, streak. But silence... Nope you just stand there and pretend you're a pug, like ZOS is forcing this playstyle upon us.

As for counterplay options, that is just a band-aid fix. Please revert 100% of the silence and keep the pvp clean and simple for a lot of players who actively seek improvement. Because once you're silenced, no matter how skilled, experienced, and knowledged you are, you simply can't improve from this and end up dying.

The pvp aspect of the game is beautiful, a lot of people may not like the direction of the game. I for one stopped subbing to ESO when they introduced cast times to shield, because that was the line they drew for me knowing these devs do not actively play the game or have pvp experience at a competitive level, they just simply make random ideas and slap it on a game without any mere thought.

Keep in mind, I mean this in the highest regard. I simply do not like what ZOS is doing to incap, I simply do not like ZOS over-thinking and constantly touching things over and over. There's a history behind every skill they've touched, it ends up getting useless.

Runecage got buffed, touched some more. Nerfed, buffed again, and now nerfed. Look at the state runecage is in, still pretty good but nobody uses it. Win win for all, everybody is happy. The point of touching runecage??? Really nothing good came out of it. Wasted ZOS time and wasted Communities frustration protesting for fair balance. Imagine the time Class Reps or Combat Reps spent telling ZOS and explaining why it needed to be nerfed or buffed, at the end of the day it wastes everybodies time both ZOS and the Communities. They were better off not touching it and saving what little time they have since they're always so busy pushing for big projects or deadline assignments.

Another skill could be slapped in here, I know of many. I don't want my comment to be thick as a bible with lectures. At the end of the day, there's nothing the community nor I can do to tell ZOS what they can and can't do. As for ZOS, i wished they had a group of 20-25 year old pvp competitors to test things for them. Such as hire class reps to test their stuff before integrating it in PTS or life similar to what they did to Necromancer. This whole test could've been done online and would've heard solid feedback from them before they heard from us.

I wish ZOS would utilize their tools they created to shift PVP combat balance in the right direction.

Their best tool they have is combat reps, because now we're all wasting our times just like I mentioned above.

    Cheers

3 seconds is all a good stamblade needs. Might as well be 3 minutes or 3 hours....

it only lasts for 3 seconds, i wouldnt be upset.
but i dont even use incap, and i dont see it as popular as what magicka users are worried.

This is what happens when people who aren’t very good at PvP complain about things. Y’all just gonna make it worse on yourselves in the end.

Acting like NB’s are crowd surfing in zergs doing anything with incap lol. Next time you see an organized group in cryodiil look how many NB’s are a part of it. Other classes are simply better suited for group PvP and if an NB is there they aren’t using incap lol.

Silence that shuts down every skill would be strong. I'd be tempted to equip my sorcerer with an ulti cost reduction build and PVP. :o

Do not single out AD. I see DC, EP, and AD do it rather frequently.

I am not worried about incap in a zerg. We have a mass silence for group oriented combat. Sorcs will still run it, magic DPS will still run Destro ult, and stam will still spam dawnbreakers in Raids.

I am worried about no counterplay to stamblade gankers that will either kill you in 3 seconds or cloak to reset the fight, rinse and repeat. This is an insane buff to an already powerful play style, arguably the most powerful in open world.

Although I think the 5.0.3 rework is horrible, I think it should affect stam in some way. Even if instead of silence it "disarms" you negating your ability to use weapon abilities, it would still be broken on mag and not very effective against stam but there needs to be something affecting stam if it goes live, which it shouldnt btw

I am not sure, what game you are playing, but incap is on pretty much 99% of every nbs bar (number is made up, but is pretty accurate). There is almost zero reason to not slot incap as a stamblade, since it makes killing a lot easier thanks to defile plus increased damage by 20%.

Incap is a scary and powerful ultimate in almost every PvP scenario (exceptions are, if you are in a organised group facing a single stamblade.

This change will make te ultimate a mandatory skill on stamb- and magblades bars (since it also provides sustain). Silence as a negate for magicka (and also some stam abilities which were forgotten to be adjusted) is too powerful as a sticky debuff on an enemy. Making it affect stam would just lead to a bigger outcry than we already have. Also it would destroy PvP fun and diversity, so I pass on any silence effect on incap.

Not gonna judge that "it should affect stam too" idea but I have to ask: do you only play NB and Warden as stam to come to that conclusion?

Then how do you come up with the idea that a silence on weapon skills won't be "very effective" against e.g a stamsorc?
