Would it be possible to leave combat in the same year you are fighting? I get stuck in combat for 5 or 10 minutes after fighting...whether I leave and stop fighting or kill someone. It's different every time, but I thought you were supposed to leave combat after 6 seconds or something.

Have you tried hiding..?
Break their line of sight & hide really quick, see if that helps
(Discovered this trying to get into Gold Coast Arena while on vacation - that laptop didn't render fast enough so it'd always enter combat before i could get in the door - but hiding around the corner, after a second it'd leave combat).0 -

Yes, and I will even end up in sneak eventually, and still in combat. Right now I've in combat for several minutes. The people are long gone, dead, sneaking and still in combat.0 -

i'm sure you've tried Everything, as that'd be Enraging.
i think /camp used to log you out - i fell prey to that prank back in 2014 (but they've since put in a warning to make sure you meant it).
what about /reloadui ?

Yeah, sorry, Xbox NA. I finally just shut off the game. I was in a field in the middle of nowhere after a battle. No one around me, out of battle for 10 minutes, hidden and still in combat. Happens every day. Get tired of running on foot everywhere. I don't see PC people have as much of an issue.0 -
It's A ZOS 'feature', and it sucks. I've been stuck in combat for as long as 20 minutes after my last action. I don't think they really care to fix it, and probably see it as a way to 'slow' the game down. Pretty lousy way to treat people like me who are long-time players and have spent a lot of money on the game.0
