Wondering if the people who want permanent necro pets have hassled with the not top tier pet AI on live?

If we controlled the pets directly and the body... sounds like a nightmare IMO. Tethers are a much more interesting mechanic especially in PvP.

Lorewise in ES you have a lot of temporary necromancy and not a lot of long lasting necromancy as far as what players can do...........

Stamcro having class abilities and not being a weapon skills platform is kind of nice in ye olde Elder Staves Online.

They look very good for pve. I'm mostly a pvper in this game and healing seems about the only thing necromancers will be good for in pvp.

I was saving seven 150% xp scrolls for necro and decided to use them to level up a dk. I'm not planning to play necro right away. I do want to try healing eventually.

It's by far the best designed class in the game.

    - Unique class flavour
    - Excellent at all 3 roles
    - Useful magicka and stamina morphs

I would love it if ZOS were to go back to the drawing board now and re-do the other classes in this mould.

    The other classes have:

    - No class diversity (all the classes have the same skills/mechanics, just in different colours)
    - They generally excel at one role only and are useless at everything else
    - They tend to only have useful magicka morphs

Only here could people complain about content that isn't even in the game yet.

I'm excited about necro. But I'm a bit worried about classes having no executes. I don't know, I kinda like the idea of executes. It feels like ZoS is going away with executes. But we'll see. I haven't played the PTS yet, really don't want to spoil myself. I suppose I am looking forward to it still... somehow. Also just to be honest, I'm not really a fan of the classes having dps/healing/tank skill lines. Just not a fan of that, because honestly, I would have really wanted a frost mage with the warden. But I will admit, the game kinda handles the classes being more flexible.

I want play a bard so much. I want a class that focuses on buffing and debuffing (maybe even like a control mage or something with strong CC). A different approach with the "healing" role.

    1. Similar to Warden (skull is like cliff racer, Execute is missing, ...)
    2. Non-permanent Pets (suck because of micromanagement)
    3. Two-color Necro skills (solid blue AND green look like playing on LSD...)

Disappointed because I was hoping for permanent pets or at least pets that last about 35-40 secs at LEAST.

I was also hoping for a tanking pet (small flesh atronach). The pets they have (if you even want to call them that) are lacking. I think ZOS knew this so they designed the pets with a buff so you kind of have to keep them summoned to get access to said buff. Otherwise why even summons them.

"I am a nightblade. Blending the disciplines of the stealthy agent and subtle wizard, I move unseen and undetected, foil locks and traps, and teleport to safety when threatened, or strike like a viper from ambush. The College of Illusion hides me and fuddles or pacifies my opponents. The College of Mysticism detects my object, reflects and dispels enemy spells, and makes good my escape. The key to a nightblade's success is avoidance, by spell or by stealth; with these skills, all things are possible."

I haven't tried it but just looking at the skill trees I don't really see anything interesting.

I was hoping it would deal more with conditions.

Transfering conditions from allies to self, (bleeds poison, disease, bleed, burning etc) then transferring colditions from self to enemies.

Skills would generally cost health instead (kind of like balance from mages guild) While Magicka, and Sta is used to sustain the health.

    Some permanent undead minions.

That's more how I imagined the class.

I’m happy with it, though it definitely needs some tweaking. Some of the abilities feel clunky, and I really don’t like the justice system getting involved :/
