"WTS [Sai Sahan's Jack], [Sai Sahan's Sword] for X gold"
For anything I want to sell AFK, I put in my trading guilds.
Wanted to see what your thoughts are on Individual trading post. What i mean by this is when I played AION back in the day, there was a trading feature where you could actually put your toon in AFK trading state. You could then add a small amount of items you wanted to list for trade. Your character would then go into an emote where they were sitting in a chair holding a sign where you had a 150 character limit, letting passing player know you had items for trade and could buy them directly from you for what ever price you posted it for.
I always thought this was a cool feature bc it still required a guild store if you wanted to list a bunch of items but also gave you an option to sell unique items yourself without a posting fee and you could only display like 10 items. I will say the known issue for this, at least in aion, was that when you were in the trading post state you afk time was increased from 20 minute to 90 minutes. So some players would just use the feature to stay in the game longer while afk so i know that is a risk.
But always thought it was a cool feature and it was kinda cool to walk into a town with a bunch of people setup like a market place with rare gear and items for sell so it felt like a more real in game buying experience. Plus it didn't remove the need for guild store bc they had a small limit on what they could post it usually was rare or high priced items that they might sell for a little cheaper then a guild store.
Would this be a feature you would like to see?

It was actually cool, whenever you don't play (at night/during the day at work, etc) just stand in some crowdy place and sell your stuff. The only huge problem was terrible performance in crowdy places (like big cities). In ESO this feature is not really possible to implement - the server will just die, we already have performance problems. But the idea in general is nice.

Am I understanding correctly - to use this feature you have to be logged in to the character and therefore can't do anything else in the game? So it's even more restrictive than trying to sell in zone chat, where at least you can be crafting or using the bank or whatever in between spamming messages?
That alone guarantees I'd never use it. Trading in this game wastes enough time as it is, without making it even more impractical.
