Plentiful Harvest not working on jewelry surveys

Just cleared a bunch of jewelry surveys and not a single double dust drop. I haven't tested other surveys yet. Is this a new or existing bug?

Far as I know that is intended. I usually get either 18 or 20 from each node. I have seen it say 40 before but I tend to think it combined two 20’s. Maybe I’m wrong?PS4 NA DC id: goldenflamesling0 -

✭✭I've had plenty of double dust drops from surveys, including within the last week. I haven't run any in the last day or two, so it's possible there is a new bug, but if your issue extends back further then I think it's something specific to you.1 -

I don't recall if I got them before the last patch, but I have the passive unlocked and know I used to get double drops from other surveys. I will test a few shortly and update.Why did the Dunmer cross the road?

It would defy the laws of probability not to get a single double drop on a dozen surveys. I just did 2 blacksmith surveys and got 1 double node on each. Do you play on xbox?Why did the Dunmer cross the road?

✭This might be a necro - but a vital one. I'm not seeing ANY surveys proc the Plentiful Harvest passive now...
And the wording on Plentiful Harvest has changed to "normal nodes". Did they nerf surveys in stealth? Like surveys aren't already a pain in the butt and take too long to complete... now even less incentive to do them>??? Really?0 -

✭I did 10 jewelry surveys on Thursday, May 2nd. I picked up 1593 dust. I wasn't looking specifically for double drops but I averaged over 26.5 per node. Unless I'm doing the math wrong, I think I got a few doubles.

No, that's not how probability works (although it is how the human brain tends to think that probability should work). It's highly likely that you'd see it proc at least once, but because the 10% chance is individual to each node that you grab and not influenced by prior nodes, it's entirely possible for it to never proc for someone no matter how many nodes they grab.The chances any given individual (with the passive) going through hundreds of surveys without having the passive proc once are extremely low, but with a large enough number of players doing surveys with the passive, it's likely it will happen to someone.Might just be bad RNG... but I have 340 surveys to complete... so I definitely should see a 10% proc at least once... right? lol

ESO's RNG is heavily weighted (usually against you). It also has multiple cooldowns that will completely eliminate any chace for items affected by said cooldowns.
