I know we are all ready and excited for Elswyr, But whats an Imperial gotta do to get some Imperial?

Kingdomkeepers69_ESO
Hard to get anything based off Imperial stuff it feels like. A good modest imperial home, Imperial mounts and costumes (midyear mayhem robes etc) Hell I'd slab a fat 100usd on a motif set of Pelinal Whitestrake/Knights of the Heir, most furnishings are so carbon copy close to Breton its as if they dont exist at all, and the ones that do seem to be in the luxury vendor.

I know the felines deff deserve their own expansion, But I'd kill for some imperial content, like Abnur Tharns new set.

Same... I was really hoping we'd go back to Imperial themes this year, when they first hinted at Abnur's letter... an end to the three banners war... maybe a return to Cyro, a revamped IC... But no. Elsweyr is technically occupied and has an 'imperial presence' but I really hope they don't think that hanging some banners on a Khajiit city is enough Imperial content.

There are huge chunks of Cyrodiil that aren't actually covered by 'Cyrodiil' ingame, so pleaaaase can we get some cool proper Imperial content (not a daedric filth town)?

I'll agree regarding furnishings, but Imperial has had a number of costumes already (three male, four female, Pelinal's Robe). There's also the Order of the Hour motif, plus a zone DLC and a limited-time home in addition to the three base game homes.

There are also the gladiator style stuff which seems to be Imperial in style to me. As well as the Midyear Mayhem crowns and the one you can earn from an achievement.

Meanwhile, Bosmer hasn't had anything new in terms of DLC or new homes. Nord hasn't had any zone DLC, though there have been a couple of dungeons, plus Hakvild's. I don't count the Snow Globe since that is, technically, Imperial in style, just stuck in Eastmarch. Breton hasn't seen any proper DLC either, or new houses.

There are chunks of Skyrim not in the game yet, as well as chunks of other regions.

Imperial isn't the only race/culture that could use more content.

Yes, but Bosmer already had three/three-and-a-half zones in the base game, same with Breton and Nord. And Bosmer especially seem unpopular, with their furnishing styles being some of the worst selling ingame. The only Imperial zone we have is the Gold Coast, and even that takes a backseat to the Dark Brotherhood story rather than that of the Empire. That's as if the only Redguard zone was Hew's Bane focusing on the Thieves' Guild, but no they already had Alik'r, Stos M'kai and most of Craglorn.

Cyro and IC are PvP zones, and IC especially feels far more like Coldharbour than anything to do with Imperials. That's as if Orsinium was added as a PvP map focusing on necromancers instead of orcs. They'd be complaining about a lack of orc content for a good reason, even though they had Bethnikh. Argonians and Khajiit are getting their own DLC/Chapter after already having had one/one-and-a-half story zones in the base game.

That is not to say that I disagree with giving bosmer more stuff  (the Huntsman motif, Wild Hunt crate adornments, and bosmer racial costumes fit them for example), I'm just saying that Imperials need some lovin', and to finally be a main story point rather than just some disposable side characters in some other people's story, or just some background to a larger unrelated plot. Considering that people loved Oblivion as much as Morrowind fans loved Morrowind, ESO seems to neglect their Imperial fanbase far more than dunmer which are far more pandered to.

I agree my glorious Imperial brethren. There’s plenty of room beyond Varen’s Wall for new houses, sets, motifs, quests, etc

The Cyrodilic Jungle House is in a terrible spot, they should release a more conservative domicile in the Gold Coast area or above in the walled off zone. A classic Roman town home with an atrium and peristylium. https://www.crystalinks.com/romebuildings.html

Also, I agree that the imperial style furniture is too close to Breton or is crown locked. They need a whole revamp. More lions, eagles and wolf motifs. And definitely a winged bull motif that is unique from Yokudan/Redguard.

    It would have my vote.
I mentioned in another thread that the Gold Coast is not enough. For one, which has been mentioned, it's mostly focused on the Dark Brotherhood anyways. But that's the thing isn't it? It's always something else that is the focus in anything that is related to Imperials. Dark Brotherhood, PvP, Molag Bal, furniture being a cheap knock off of Breton (Which is Crown Store only aswell) etc.
They lost their city and loads of their people! Let them and us have some respite from that with more Imperial we can just leisurely enjoy.
A nice Cyrodiil zone with some lovely small and medium sized houses. In Nibenese style aswell!
And we can't have enough toga, tunics and sandals can we?

I agree, it seems like the Imperials are the least explored race in the game and the Imperial content has more focus on something else other than the Imperials. I understand they're supposed to be the enemy because of the Alliances, but I'm sure ZoS can manage something for the Imperials if they wanted to.
