Indrik Luminous Berries

Apex/Radiant Apex mount looks better & it is rarer.
There is no actual need to bother with the Indrik which doesn't even look good.
I have the Luminous Indrik, but just because I had to spend my tickets on something or else I would lose tickets when reaching 12/12.
I only tried it once but I won't use the mount at all.

One simple question , I have already got the 1st season revolution indrik mount , I also have 4 new Luminous barries in my pocket , and I cant turn them into new mount , it said that the original indrik was required .

So I have to buy those 4 feathers , is it ?

Correct.
After evolving the Indrik you lose access to the Nascent Indrik.

No you do not need to buy four feathers in this event

You can buy the berries without buying feather or having a base Indrik in your collections.

The berries are priority if you want a luminous Indrik, you can get the feathers throughout this year

I realise that but if you came into this event with either no Indrik or one that had already been upgraded to the Dawnwood, then you need both a new Indrik (40 tickets) and 4 luminous feathers (another 40 tickets) to upgrade it during this event to the Luminous version.

It seems strange to me that only 72 tickets are available, when you'd need 80. By the next event, people will want to get the Onyx version (presumably, another 40 tickets).

People might want all 4 indriks and upgrade them, they should have kept it simple and given enough tickets in each event to do that.

<insert very long sigh here>

You do not need 80 tickets to get the pieces exclusive to the Luminous Indrik. It doesn’t matter if you can’t get the Luminous by the end of this event, because you can ALWAYS use the berries later and the feathers will be here through the year. There is and will be more excess tickets each event to make up the difference.

You’re putting too much emphasis on not being able to get immediate gratification when at worst you’ll have to wait an extra couple weeks for the last few tickets you’d need for the last feathers

But will the luminous berries be available again? I have 3 of them and rather like the luminous mount, but I can only get 6 more tickets. I don't really want to bury 1000 crowns and then find out that the last berry is on sale in a couple of weeks for the next event...

It won't be available during the next event. The next event is going to be the start of the process of unlocking the Onyx Indrik, so there will be new berries to buy instead.

If the luminous berries return it will be in 2020 at the earliest - after the current cycle has completed with the release of the Onyx and snow indriks. But we don't know yet if that will happen - a lot of people have speculated they'll come back, but ZOS have not said anything about it.

Of course there's nothing to stop you waiting for them to come back, but it will be months at least, not weeks, and might never happen.

That only applies if you started late. I've missed chunks of various events and odd tickets here and there but I've still got the dawnwood and luminous indriks and 3 feathers towards another nascent so I'm on track to get all of them without ever buying tickets.

I have both Indriks with tickets to spare ... not one ticket bought in the Crown Store.

That’s just planning ahead ... not suffering through OCD.

Well, there are things I don't do. I don't pvp. I don't do dungeons, trials, pledges, delves. It's all too difficult with my mega-ping.... So having the ability to buy a couple tickets is a good thing for me.

Damn, I have bought the feathers first and than I bought the berries and now I missed the last one, so if it's not returning then I've got 3 useless berries and lost 36 Event-Tickets.

You could put in a ticket.

When this whole Indrik business started, people were buying spare feathers with extra tickets, before ZOS confirmed that they would be needed. A few contacted Customer Service, and they agreed to refund tickets once the feathers were destroyed. So, it's not unprecedented for them to modify your quest item inventory. Just say that you misunderstood how the berries worked, and it's possible that they may grant you the missing berry.... provided that you have enough tickets in your inventory.

Fwiw - if you planned well, have been here the whole time, and participated every day, you're probably slightly ahead of the game with a couple spare feathers and residual tickets. I'm guessing this is not the case for many people.

I put a ticket in and they exchanged the berry I'd bought. They will contact you and tell you to destroy the berry you don't want, and then they put the item you want into your inventory, it was very speedy and a great service.

They will also refund tickets, but only if you have 2 or less in your inventory (since it adds 10 and you can only hold 12).

Agreed. I haven't seen anything official that these will return next year, and I've pored over all their articles on the Indriks to fully understand the process.

Also, if they returned next year, then what will the players who got all the Indriks this year spend their tickets on? Presumably, there will be something new, not old. Though it is possible that they could be available in the store alongside whatever new thing they'll be offering. But, in that case, the forum would be full of QQ from new players complaining that they can't get both.

I've only missed out on a few tickets here and there. I've got the Dawnwood, Luminous, a third Nascent and one feather toward a fourth, with 10 tickets in my inventory. This year-long event (which actually started last Fall), is intended as a long process and the only way to get everything is to have participated in most events. If you came late, then you can get what is available to you, and if you really want the others, then you can buy tickets in the CS. However, new players coming to the game with Elsweyr, e.g. will already have missed out on two evolutions. That's just the nature of an MMO.

I'm guessing that these mounts will be available in future to new players, as direct purchases in the CS. Which doesn't bother me in the slightest, since I'll have gotten all of mine for free.

I also believe that the fully developed Indriks will come to the crown store at some point, since they have shown a propensity for bringing back older stuff so the newer players can buy it. And as for what to spend new tickets on: on test you are able to buy furnishings for your homes, at a cost of one or two tickets each. I think at some point there will be more things to buy from the Impresario than there will be free tickets available. But single tickets will always be available for purchase from the Crown Store from now on, so completionists will be able to have everything..... if they choose to pay the price.

I've got the mount and all the berries. I haven't eaten the berries yet, would much rather have the Onyx Indrik. I'm going to wait and see if I can get them black berries first.
