Can we just sell them please.

Let us buy them because we badly need them.

And no I dont wanna go in zerodiil.

Bg is my only pvp. And I suck at it.

Sell and buy them via guild traders? - sure.

As long as it does not include another crown store thing like the upcomming skyshard thing.

    How to buy Transmute Stones:

    1. Queue up for Cyrodiil
    2. Buy Wall Repair kits for gold
    3. Repair walls until you have 25k AP to reach tier 1 of the alliance rewards.

    No PVP required.

You also get them from PvE. Dungeons, trials, Maelstrom....its not just from PvP, that's just the most effective way.

*** IT 500k crowns you get all trial skins, every skill line and skyshard, and why not? Let's throw in the emperor title too. Every character you make gets full cp and you get a golded out gear set of your choice with all maelstrom weapons and Dragonstar weapons.

Then, you'll never actually have to play a moment of ESO...buy everything!

    This is getting ridiculous......🙄

I doubt I'll ever use any of them. So I've got 400 (two accounts) I'd LOVE to sell - or *sigh* even just give away.

If they have to be sold...let them be sold for writ vouchers and be bound so they can't be sold at traders.

I often reach the point where I have 200 crystals, and unable to open any more boxes, and don't have anything I need to transmute.

The only thing I've figured out to use my excess crystals is to transmute a trash weapon to Nirnhoned, and then deconstruct it to get a chance of a nirncrux. Otherwise I end up with the boxes stacking up in my inventory, and you can't even stick them in the bank!

They should either be tradeable, or at least up the limit from 200.

Exactly this, I already transmuted my gear to my needs, and still suck at bg, now I just wanna sell them, 50 stack for 100k gold.

If you could sell them they wouldn't be anywhere near that price. You see many more complaints about reaching the limit and having nothing needing transmuted. Supply would be much greater than demand.

See.... I don't do group content. I don't do endgame. I don't have any reason to transmute gear. And I can't even just delete the damn things.

So *shrug*. I pulled the stuff out of the containers, and the stones went to the bit-bucket. Stupid mechanic.

One thing people do to make profit on their stockpiled crystals is to transmute junk weapons Nirnhoned and decon them for the Potent Nirncrux to sell :) I know quite a few people that do that.

Eh..... on my main account I have over a hundred nirncrux of both versions. On my second account (less than 6 months old) I have nearing 50 of each.

You know.... I, the RNG left-behind in WoW and RIFT, have amazing luck in this game.

I’d have no problem with being able to sell geodes in the guild store. But please keep these out of the crown store. They don’t need to be in there.

Definitely don't need to be able to buy them but perhaps you just need a bit of a walkthrough on the whole thing.

You get a geode once per day for a random dungeon in the grouping tool. 7 minimum there.
Each Trial has a weekly quest that grants 5 Transmute Crystals. There are 7 trials in the game, two of which are blocked by Chapter restrictions. That leaves 5 you can guarantee do once a week for 35 Crystals.
Each Undaunted Pledge gets you a minimum of 1 crystal as well. That's 7, 14, or 21 a week minimum depending on how many pledges you choose to do.

In a week you can easily obtain 63 Transmute Crystals from some pretty basic stuff. It doesn't even require Veteran content of anything either, it's really easy to find groups for those five base-game trials. It takes 550 Crystals max to retrait all gear, less if you are a magicka user. Two months to get your end-game be all gear isn't asking all that much. Even moreso because unlike most MMO's every new chapter doesn't mean you'll be changing your build; because your armor will always be relevant.

(Read that as; there is literally no reason you should be retraiting anything on a gear piece that isn't part of that toons final build... It's far too easy to farm dungeon/trial gear up just by doing them on normal mode and then entering the veteran versions once you are fully geared.)

Edit: I forgot jewelry. 700 Transmute Crystals for a full gear set. 100 less if using two handers in both bars. 50 less for a single two hander. Regardless 11 weeks max (assuming nothing drops with the trait you need) really isn't all that terrible in a game where gear is relatively permanent. Compare this to other MMOs where the gear literally changes entirely every xpac.

As a guy who plays 90% pvp, I wouldn't mind being able to sell them. Having one more way to earn gold via pvp is always okay in my books. I have a TON of unopenned geodes since i'm at 200 right now...

I think ZOS needs to make it easier to get transmute stones in PvE. One per dungeon is ridiculous when I can get 50 by doing Cyrodiil for a couple of days each month.
Luckily, I like Cyrodiil ... just not every day.

Agree - I PvP enough to have too many of the damn things - this is main reason I don’t open “rewards” of the worthy mails until I run out of mail space.

So I’d very much like to be able to sell the excess.

As with any other item controversy, this could be easily solved by making the item Bind-on-Equip.

ESO's economy will flourish when players are allowed to spend their time doing what they like and trading the resources they accumulate for the other things they need.

on PC NA, easy sell for 10k, can go up to ~14k.

They should allow people to craft Retrait Stones at an enchant table, 50 Crystals + 25 Rekuta = 1 Retrait Stone.
