Release date for Elsweyr (pre-order)?

I've seen mutters around that people who pre-ordered get to play the Elsweyr Chapter sooner than June 4th, is this true or just a bunch of hogwash? Or do people count the PTS as getting it early?

I think there’s early access. On the website, recent news article about necromancer -

I pre-ordered and I've heard nothing about playing any sooner than release date. I think someone's just taking a rumor and running with it.

I believe PC release date is May 20th with console release on June 4th.

Maybe pc players since zeni controls the platform.
Sony/MS have to approve depolyment,and usually depolyment never changes. Dont wanna have a product that ends up getting so broken, refund transaction charges end up outnumbering income

Oboy.... here I thought I had until first week June to get my bw usage down so I could download, and now it's going to be a couple weeks early....

I wonder how many GB I'm looking at for this chapter.

The first PTS version was 7.4GB, so probably around 7.5GB for the live version.

Well, I should be okay then. I've got a bit over 8 GB free now, and if we don't have any further patches until the 20th (and I don't have to update anything else) I can probably manage it. If it looks like not, I'll have to wait for a friend to ship me his install folder on stick again.... which might mean I'd miss the mount. *sigh* So much micromanaging when one lives in the back of beyond!
