A limited version would be fairly nice. Perhaps for example 200 limit

To be honest, if it wasn't part of the subscription, I'd probably drop the sub.

Overall not as powerful, no. As the others said maybe a "tease/trial" bag? This could encourage more to know what they're missing out on. I know for sure its one of the main reasons I sub.

Where is the Other option? Of course I would like to see it not be subscription locked. But if the crafting bag is giving us more content then why not.

Funny I wouldn't pay Zenimax a subscription fee to play ESO, but I have ESO+. I guess what I am saying is we are getting more worth from having a pseudo subscription. Take away the crafting bag, what is going to replace it to keep getting more bang for our buck?

    Sure.
But it's the only thing that make ESO+ worth,

Otherwise you simply just needed to subscribe 1 month to do every single DLC, because they are too easy.

I’d like to be able to purchase it. I own every dlc.

Do to rl there are months when I can barely get in at all or can only get on for limited amounts. I use these times to farm mats or a quick bg Would be nice if I didn’t have to pay 15 bucks for a game I play 8 hours in a month so all my mats don’t clutter my inventory.

As it is now I just made a character for farming mats that has nothing in his inv except mats.

Craft bag is not a problem. Bank space cap is. 240 was fine, back when the game launched in 2014. Now with all those style materials and additional crafting materials it is a pain to just manage your inventory. Crafting on multiple characters is a pain in the a**.

I think ZOS should simply "update" max bank space. It is a win-win since ESO+ will get double of that anyway.

Won't ever happen, since it's for most players the only reason to pay the sub.

That is the problem, pretty much forcing people to sub for inventory management should not be the players problem. It is straight up a scam. They should redo the whole sub platform and take a close look at it. The fact people are cool with it is cancerous to me. Anyone have an actual total mat item count for eso? Or yes they could increase bank space cap, but isn't that what housing was suppose to do?

Forget the crafting bag, they need to put an UNLIMITED inventory bag in the Crown Store for $100 or something.

If all you need is a place to store mats, just buy 9 extra ESO accounts for like $6 and make a private guild bank like I did.

Do you know how much $$$ ZOS would lose if they do that? It's fair we have to pay for the bag. I'd be doing the same if I were ZOS.

I voted no, not because I don’t agree but because I question how they will make up the revenue lost when ESO+ subscribers cancel since that’s the reason most of us subscribe. Perhaps add other improvements like increasing bank space and bag space, but keep the “unlimited” version locked to ESO+.

Agree, which is why they wont make it free. They would lose most of their ESO plus subs.

Sure it would be nice to have it "free" without a sub , but if that ever happens then it would be a sign that ESO is dieing.

When MMOs start giving stuff away such as a sub only crafting bag for free then thats usually a sign that they are going to pull resources they have used to support said MMO, or at the very least, just feed it enough to let it die a slow death.

So I guess, be careful what you wish for.

It is insane that you are worried about their revenue, that is the definition of brainwashed fanboism lol. Think about what you are saying, the only revenue you should worry about is your own. They would have to adapt and stop using cheap gimmicks bc customers stopped enabling them. This is insane, everything wrong with mmos lol.

[snip]. It is not a scam because no-one is being deceived, you get what you pay for.

People managed their inventories well long before that bag existed using storage alts or their own guilds. Housing was never meant to be another source of inventory space, it is why for a long time it had no inventory storage at all.

No Mr. Bond, I expect you to PAY! MUAHAHAHA!

But seriously, the crafting bag wasnt implemented until well after the B2P conversion. It is there specifically to reward people for subscribing. Don't get the idea into your head that they will ever change that.

Inventory management is fun—one of the most satisfying aspects in video games.

Finally, some common sense. But you are wasting your breath. This thread will rapidly fill up with even dumber comments than the ones you've read so far. I'm tired of arguing about this every year, LOL.

If ZOS was worried about subscription revenue, all they had to do was keep the game subscription only like it was at launch. This entire debacle with the crafting bag was created by ZOS, so no players should be held to blame. All these fools who are "worried" about ZOS' finances need to realize that DLC purchasers SAVED ESO after it underperformed in the first year. I'm getting sick and tired of DLC purchasers being treated like second class citizens when many of us have spent hundreds, even THOUSANDS of dollars in the Crown Store.

Subscription only craft bag is fine with me, but I think stack size limits are effectifly decreasing the already limited bag and bank space, thus stack limits should be removed.

Lets stop trying to strip stuff away piece by piece from the people who are willing to pay a sub to have some actual perks. If someone wishes to not sub, great, you miss out on some perks in doing so. That's how it should work, pony up if you want some added bonuses.

Some of these posts I've come across since being over here for the past three weeks are borderline idiotic. If people want to f2p it up awesome for them. What the hell is the purpose of a sub if the f2p crowd start in complaining about how they are the (have nots) and want the people who do sub to lose things.
I am patient with stupidity but not with those who are proud of it.

Of course those who sub will vote that it should be locked and those who don't sub will vote it should be free. What a silly question.

I think the entire game should be subscription locked.

15-20 years ago, Ultima Online cost around $70 to buy, then you had to subscribe at around $14 per month to play. ESO is easily 100 times the game that UO was.

Certain people will always want more more more and never want to pay for it.

I have subbed for years. The only reason i sub now is for the craft bag. So I'd be in favour of it going in the crown store. I'd prefer a one off cost than a rolling cost. It's a no brainer in that respect. I suspect the only cut ZoS get from the game are from dlc sales and subs. The rest goes straight into the parent company. So it makes sense it is hidden behind one of the 2 paywalls that probably do fund the game.
