Since there was no room for today's motif pages in my 60-slot storage chest, I decided it was time for Lindaarie my PC EU main to learn some pages. I think she probably actually learned the motifs in the first of the two batches in which she read them. I'm really unsure about the second batch and because I'm relatively new to EU she's not completed the Mage's Guild quest chain, so I'm not finding an easily viewable list of what she knows. If there is a quick overview not dependent on completing the Mage's Guild quest, it would be very helpful to know how to access it. If there isn't, I'd like to express the view that that is idiotic.

After learning the second group, I decided to open the storage chest and review the remaining pages to make sure they were either duplicates, i.e. now already in her library, or had skill level requirements she doesn't yet meet. At this point the chest auto-closed. I tried to reopen it and was bumped to a loading screen which I allowed to run for about *2 hours* in hopes that things would resolve themselves before finally shutting the game down and reopening it to see how things stood. This occurred shortly after 3:00 Eastern this afternoon.

When I reopened it, the pages were gone, but there were no notifications indicating that I had learned anythng, although I heard the using sounds and got the usual pop-ups while learning them. I can continue using the crafting stations to see what she does and doesn't know, but I have only general memories of which pages were in the chest, and it's difficult to back track without either a before or after list that would make it easy to tell whether she knows more or less the number she should. She'd only learned the basic blue books and one page before starting on the chest of 60 (plus four in inventory) so it should be clear whether numbers known and numbers of pages consumed are roughly in sync if I can determine what she knows.

Any advice on how to approach this dilemma would be much appreciated. I'm pretty upset ....
