Will deconstructing a gold enchant give the gold trait item?

If I deconstruct a gold item on my master crafter (all enchant skills max), will I get back any trait item used to make it?

In my experience, it's a crapshoot. Sometimes you get the trait material and sometimes not. Same with the gold improvement mat.

It is not 100%. Plus it took 8 gold items to upgrade it and at best you will get only 1.

For jewelry it is even worse. It takes 4 gold matts to upgrade jewelry, but takes refining 10 pieces to make one of those gold matts and deconing only returns one smaller piece or 1/40th of what is required.

Deconstructing glyphs does not on average give a good return. Chances of getting anything back are low, and you can probably assume most of those Kutas are gone. Technically it's not a 'trait' item.

It was a glyph, but I still hate to completely waste the gold mat.

You can try listing it in a guild trader.
