As said in the skill description, the morphed mage guild skill "degeneration" is not working correctly. The 15% chance to be healed for 100% of weapon attack damage does not happen at all.
I was using foundry tactical combat and then I thought it was a possibility so I swapped to CLS and still nothing. Which addon are you using so I can try it.
It works fine, I love it for tanking, however the damage it does is absolute garbage for the durration. I dont expect it to be a main dps skill with the healing factor, but good lord, its SO low. You can tell when it procs the heal btw because your arms glow purple (and your hp goes up)

I still don't understand one thing! Does the passive proc by having the ability slotted, or do I need to use the skill on a target then auto-attack for it to proc?
I like it, but, I would prefer that it work a little differently. Rather than have a low chance to restore some health, I think it would be better if it just restored a smaller amount of health but did so with every basic attack. The health regeneration over time is nice, it helps to sustain in fights. But I'm not sure about it. It's not as powerful as some of my class abilities as far as damage goes, and the healing factor both of Entropy and the Degeneration upgrade aren't the most powerful heals around either. It's a little underwhelming for how hard I worked to raise my Mages Guild rank
It works as stated by its tool tip. CLS (Combat log statistics) shows it as a reliable proc for me. Foundry Tactical Combat does not show it's procs. Now, as far as the damage goes...... it's not the best. Soul Trap actually does more DPS. The skill needs to be applied to the target in order to proc the weapon based healing.

The proc itself actually works well for my Sorc using @h weapons and even desutrction staff, I use it in conjuction with Critical Surge and it gives me quite a bit of self sustain and was vital for leveling through VR content. But as I've been pressing, if you feat everlasting magic it will be increased in length but the damage won't increase, resulting in a DPS reduction.
I really wanted to make a magika dot spec with, soul trap, entropy, poison arrow and acid spray. Come to find out dot skills scale horribly bad for some reason, and this one is the worst.
u can cast entrophy/degeneration on mulitple targets right? i remember i casted entrophy on 3 targets and saw that my addon gave me back from all 3 targets, with that said u can increase the chance of weapon heal % if u cast on 3 targets? 15%+15%+15%?
This skill is getting buffed in 1.1. I have no idea atm if the duration increase passive gets fixed for it. Remember to weave light attacks with skills for optimal dps and to maximize the 15% proc.
Does the chance of it proccing go up with ranks? I'm very torn between this and Structured Entropy, and that 15% chance doesn't seem like it will proc often. I'm also an imperial though and already get increased max health.
