Why is an execute — something that almost every class has access to, magDK’s aside — “cheesy AF”? Because it’s ranged? Is Jesus Beam cheesy AF? Is Steel Tornado cheesy AF? Just curious.
People screamed like hell for Steel Tornado nerfs and got it, Jesus beam takes longer and has risks.
On my death recap I am so tired of seeing damage from another class like stamden which I would expect because I was fighting one only to see the final blow from a sorc being Mage's Wrath with no other damage from said sorc.
Almost every recap this is the case.
You do realize that Death Recap only reflects a small period of time, right? I could be duking it out with you 1v1 on my mag sorc, only to have a stamden swoop in with a burst combo just as I throw in my finishing combo. That lone Wrath you see in your recap does not necessarily paint the full picture.
I’m really tired of being accused of “kill stealing” just because I happen to use my class execute when people are, gasp, in execute range.
No duh, you only see the last skills used on you. That is my point exactly Wrath is always at the bottom of the list as the execute even though I was fighting some one else, some sorc safe in their zerg spams wrath and gets the final blow when someone else gets me into execute range.
I wouldn't mind the sorc using the execute on me if they were the actual one I was fighting.
It happens way more often than some other class jumping in.
Pet meat shields and wrath need adjustment.

Not slotting a pet is only gimping yourself, you get so much for giving up two bar slots there are no pvp setups without a pet that trump a pet build.

I play solo PvP 90% of my time in cyrodiil. When I fight outnumbered and there's a magsorc, my ability to survive decreases dramatically. It's really that much of a difference!

Bought the game two weeks ago, decided to give battlegrounds a try and oh boy it was different. I've played something similar to ESO's battlegrounds in Perfect World Entertainments Neverwinter game.
The first thing I noticed once I dinged level 10 and headed into a battleground was the sorcs running around blowing things up. Than I noticed just how chaotic it all seemed, I guess because I'm new to the way pvp is done in this game or something, but my lord every game I've done from level 10 to 19 seems to have so many sorcs in them.
At higher levels does that change?
Also, are there macro's in this game for various spells, or is it just flip flopping between the two bars?
Can we buff other classes to where they are competitive with mag sorcs? If you duel in stormhaven or grahtwood you know what i'm talking about. Everybody is a sorc. In vivec most players are sorcs. I've been playing the class a lot recently and I see why. Nothing else compares to it's mobility, burst, or defense. It's a represenation of a class that has everything it needs in it's kit to play high level pvp. Using mag sorc as a model can we bring the other classes up to par. I've gone back to my stam dk and while I have comparable tankiness the shortcomings are glaring now that i've played the other class for a while.
Have you considered that you most likely have serious "learn to play" issues with other classes?
It is common virus that has spread around these boards especially.
The symptons of this virus is when you notice that you are nerfing everything around you instead of looking at the mirror where the problem lies.
Hope these tips helped to cure you. Enjoy the summer sun!
Lol nobody said anything about nerfs, i've never made a post about nerfs. Think you're mad that somebody is talking about how well equipped your class is and you're just getting defensive.
No! Definately not.. just forgot to add one sympton and that self denial! I think we have a bingo here since all the symptons are fullfilled
Now have a nice 1 and remember to go out and enjoy the sun...
Like I said you're being defensive and projecting hard lol
There is nothing defensive (or whatever you mean by it) by saying that you 150% certainly have real learn to play issues on the PvP. As said nothing personal but that shines out like a bright sun.
To be honest these forums have a lot of that type around both in PvP and PvE side of things so nothing to be shame of either in that respect.
Lol still projecting

Just another Sorc thread. I thought that it had dawned on the community that
- 30-0 BG scores are no proper assessment of any class, just shows how good your class is at kill stealing
- that dueling isn’t a measure of class balance either
- that there is quite the difference between non-pet and pet Sorc, and in CP and noCP
- that the only thing “OP” about pet Sorcs is the available LoS because of the abysmal targeting
Play a pet Sorc open world Cyrodiil and I doubt it’s really “OP” - not more than say, a StamWarden or a StamNB or a block-casting Templar.
david_m_18b16_ESO wrote: »
The problem is that you use duel as a metric wich is really meaningless. Sorc could be OP but if your reason for this statement is duel then you'r invalidating all of your complaint.

Wrath is dodgeable. The secondary effect (which only appears if Wrath is cast on you before you hit 20% health) can be purged before you enter execute range. Implosion (which used to synergize well with Wrath, providing a more or less a dual execute when both fired) has been completely revamped. What more do you want? I agree that something needs to be done with the meat shields, but Wrath is fine. And yeah, it’s not at all surprising that the last skill on your recap is frequently Wrath, considering that it’s a ranged execute... My death recaps often feature single casts of Steel Tornado, Radiant Glory, Executioner/Reverse Slice, Wrath/Fury, etc. with the bulk of the damage coming from other players. Executes are specifically designed to finish people off, and are thus working as intended. Why does it bother you if you die to one player and an execute from another player? You probably would have died anyway, given that you were in execute range. And if you’re bothered by people on your alliance/BG team stealing your kills, why? If you’re in a team based PvP environment, your individual K/D ratio is unimportant. As far as BG scoring goes, assists count towards your score. The only time when you are justified for calling other people out over “kill stealing” is when the other team/alliance steals kills from you — and any class can do that.
