Account wide bounty for more of a challenge

I don't see how you can just change to an alt, and pretend you did not just rack up hundreds of thousands of gold in a bounty, and get away with it lets make Bounties account wide, after all the characters are known by an account name so why don't they share a bounty

In-character crimes can only be followed with per-character bounty. Period. As has been said already.
The account is out of character, and that one gets only punished by crimes the -player- comitts, You know... cheating, exploiting, harrassment, etc.

✭✭✭✭✭Or simply remove bounty decrease over time. Or make your bank "frozen" account wide while you have bounty. There are ton of ways to make this game immersive and engaging, but unfortunately majority of players prefer potato field with dailies and running from one quest marker to other.
I got a friend, experienced gamer from the 199x, when there were no quest markers and google. And even such veterans became lazy. I bite him to become WW and he didn't know what big animal to kill to bring to Hircine, so he was killing smaller ones and raged at me that quest is stupid. I specially was silent so he figured it on his own.. after long rage he finally killed mammoth and said this was stupidest and worst quest in ESO he met (though he greatly adores ESO's quests overall)0 -

People want to play one character as good and another as evil. I could personally care less, but we will see VMA weapons in the crownstore before we have account wide bounties.1 -

yeah I was doing that across 4 or so maps yesterday and left 5+ bodies of the same npc :P only ran up a 300k bounty but not my fault the npcs were dropping white items 1 -

Since I NEVER commit crimes, a bounty account wide wouldn't affect me at all.
All you criminals deserve it.

Wandering_Immigrant✭✭✭✭No thanks, not all my characters are particularly fun to sneak around on. But making it so you don't lose bounty while a character is logged I'd be ok with, I might even like it.0

It could be IF someone does it that way. Make all their characters part of one family as part of their backstory... even tho it'd be a bit silly, just think about the family dinner "I beat Molag Bal" - "no, that was me!" - "No, me!" - "Me!"...
But many more will have loads of characters who are completely unconnected to each other. That former dunmer servant girl and the orc paladin-wannabe, the altmer priestess with questionable past and the breton vampire, the nord mountain man and the redguard desert bandit... no connection whatsoever!

Immersion wise since toons share items, gold in bank and crafting bag, they are some kind of organization at least. And it will be cool if bank account was "locked" while one of persons from organization is wanted.
All the stealing/crime system in ESO is a big joke.1 -

Mudcrabber✭✭✭✭I like having one character that I can rack up a huge bounty on without the worry of ever having to pay. Sometimes I'll spend hours just killing everything in sight with no regard for witnesses (like around that apple crate during the Jester's festival).

Not everyone has millions of gold so as to make bounties irrelevant. most of us are lucky to have 50-100k.Playing your character the way your character should play is all that matters.
