Would you like to have a class change token available, now that we're getting yet another new class?

Yes, add the class change token.

Of course! How can this not be a thing already? They have created a crafting system that requires weeks of research and skyshards for exploration, mount lvling that has a daily cooldown but don't create a way for players to change class. That would be fine in of itself, but then they add 2 new classes. I just want my orc main to be a warden. That's all. If I knew warden was gonna be released when I created him as a nightblade I wouldn't have bought the game and just waited til morrowind.

Exactly, how can this not be a thing in a game where it takes years to accomplish everything on a single character... Sigh.

    Any input @ZOS_GinaBruno @ZOS_JessicaFolsom @ZOS_RichLambert ?

Tbh the only mmorpg with a class change is ff14. In eso all classes are able to heal, tank or dps anyway

So, you're willing to pay for a class change token, but you're not willing to pay for mount training?

Crafting doesn't apply. You don't need master crafting on every alt. You can max the two you do (Alchemy and Provisioning) in a matter of minutes.

There is a certain amount of setup required for any new character, but it's far from unreasonable. The time involved is actually the least justifiable argument thus far.

@Nyladreas I know you were counting on this, and I've stated your reasons are understandable. Here's hoping you still give an alt a go, even if for something different from your main every now and then.

You can still progress, and hopefully you'll find some new found inspiration for the game.

Whatever you choose, best of luck. Sincerely.

Just because you don't like the way something is doesn't necessarily make it wrong...

    Earn it.

I'm having the time of my life seeing the same people that threw stones at us for asking for class change tokens now cry rivers of tears because of the racial changes.

"Oh but I spent so much time deciding my race"

    "My RP is gone now"

    "ZoS Destroyed my character"

Guess what, ive spent a lot of time deciding my class as well, yet I cant change it like you can with your race.

As the cherry on top, I'd like to quote mister gilliam:
To summarize, we decided to focus more on racial balance this update because racial choice was one of the larger outliers to our core mantra of the game - freedom

BS my friend, if the core mantra was freedom, we wouldnt be tied to classes forever and bound to whatever crazy change you guys come up with.

I do agree there should be a class change token but it will not happen in the foreseeable future. At least that is what was said when they did this big twitch video when the year started.

It is a shame because with everything changing all the time it would have made sense. They can put a limit on it say only able to change once or twice.

No, do not add the class change token.
Everyone voting YES forgets something critical

You need to level your class skill lines from start, including your abilities and morphs.

That would take more time than level 1 to 50 with an XP scroll these days.

In the absence of any sort of progression mechanic for cp capped end gamers it may be the only option atm.

Just seems like a massive waste of money. Although, it would be funny to watch the flood of buyer's remorse roll into the forums: "The Necro isn't OP like my last class, gimme my money back!" "The necro has no permanent pets!", "why is the fire blue? This is stupid!"

    a) Yes
    b) I think a 1 month cooldown would be fine.
    c) maybe

I have played since launch, right around the time my son was born. Between work, family and other things, Im lucky to get a few hours at the end of the night to play my sorc. I have a DK but never got him past lvl 15 because I dont have the patience to restart from zero just to try new skills and playstyle.

I think all non-combat achievements should be account-wide. Give or take some.

Because it makes no sense. We can learn/unlearn Vampirism/Werewolf & change from a lizard to a cat to an Imperial at will, yet can’t attend Fight Club, Medical School, or Hogwarts to learn new/change skills as needed.

So just wanted to say that the lack of a class change token is preventing me from playing this game until the expansion launches. I really don't feel like repeating everything all over again on the class I wanted to be playing from the start, so it is best to just not waste my time.

After this new "buy skyshards" thing, it baffles me class change is still not available, even if it would cost like 15k crowns
