Week 4 Event - which dailies count?

Does anyone have a definitive list of which dailies count toward “dungeons and trials”. I’m struggling to think of many, especially if I discount trials (i’ll do a few of those I’m sure, but they’re not really conducive to solo play!).

Undaunted pledges for sure. Hopefully also the daily random dungeon. There are also repeatable trial quests that I imagine should count as well.

That means that only the trials are repeatable? Would be nice if randoms also count...

afaik only the 3 pledges and trials are counting, the delve quest was in week 2 , randoms dont count as pledges so i believe they dont drop a thing.

Seems like a really small number of dailies in comparison to every other week - and much more time required per quest. It’s what I thought - was just hoping I had misunderstood and one of you had a bit of info I was missing.

Oh well, in that case....... WTB this week’s style pages 😂

I'm probably going to try some pledges but most likely I'll be skipping this week.

My focus will be on next week to get my Sai pages. Then buy whatever I need.

Going from 50 boxes a day to 3... Nice.

Kinda wished I could farm randoms all day though.

wait for next week, all the style pages will be dropping form crafting writs.

i went from 70 boxes daily with the writs to maybe having like 15 all together since that week.

I have a question. Do mages guild daily quest count ?
There is a daily quest in which you need to go public dungeon to get some items.

Worth trying and seeing - but somehow I have a feeling that this might not count. We will find out later though

The event is for dungeons and not delves - so I suspect these will not count. But worth a try as it is reasonably quick to go and do one.

Tbh I've given up grinding for crap. Opened 30 boxes last night and most valuable thing I got was a motif worth 1400g. Got lots of fishing bait though

Very unlikely but hopefully some test it, the CWC crow quest and the repair quest both counted as delve or world boss quest reward. Granted the repair one was often in an delve but the crow

On top of that each box is much harder to earn. Even blitzing FG I with a good premade group you are going to be about 10 minutes. 10 minutes is about the tops for most other dailies. If you figure your average group doing your average dungeon with wait times, you be looking at 2-3 hours per character for DPS , 1-3 for healers, and 1-2 for tanks. All i can say is a lot of fake tanks need to queue for normal dungeons. Ill keep you alive, i wont be happy about it, but its better than waiting 10-15 minutes for a queue as a healer.

They should have combined week 3 and 4 together into week 3 and then gave us 2 weeks of FFA questing. Making us jump through requirement hoops each week, especially with a lot lower rewards in boxes, isnt much of a celebrations.

this & week 2 probably really suck for people who don't have alot of dlcs/chapters RIP

I mean I have most of them besides dungeon dlcs so i'll just be missing the dlc pledges really.

I feel sorry for people that can't even pick up pledges yet. They will have to grind levels quick or no presents at all for them.

I guess that's why week 5 is a thing. But yea I wouldn't say that this version of this event is very balanced in terms of having the different weeks like that.

This week is pretty bad, without trials you're left with 3 boxes a day per character, if they haven't at least doubled the drop rate, good luck getting anything out of it.

Instead of going for pledges and trials only, they should have gone for dungeons in general and added daily random to the mix, with public dungeons as well (mages guild daily and I personally would have made it so that completing any group event rewards an Anniversary box).

Or they could have done something similar to the Witches event, where each boss would drop a box.

It doesn't fit well with their theme of "must be daily quests" but something more similar to the witches festival probably would have worked and have bosses drop it. maybe not even all bosses but say, you're doing the pledge (or trial) and the bosses for the daily quest you have drop the box or whatever. not counting side bosses bc those aren't part of pledges.

totally 567 quest on my 9 characters. It will be far the majority of quests done.

I still believe that its only prophet style that will drop in writs last week, and tharn from pvp and so on, you just have the choice of doing what ever you feel like it.

its not like all styles will drop from writs

yeah, i dont have high hopes to get the all the style pages this week, but i also wouldnt advice to buy them this week. Just wait for the end of week 5 when prices are down to almost nothing

i will probably only doing the base dungeon pledges, solo one while waiting in queue for the other one (if no guildies are available) and then move on to carglorn and join a quick ncr farm group - much faster then doing any dlc dungeon.
